A -> b relationship: A doesn’t really have much empathy but the little empathy they do have is reserved for b (after a really long time) so there is at least a little love on both sides. The majority of the relationship is a viewing b as their property though

B -> a relationship: b views a as god basically and would commit genocide and more for a.

I wanna make a character relationship between one character (I’ll name them a for now) who’s the traditional “bad guy” in a story and their views are nihilistic and they are borderline sociopathic and then the other (b) is absolutely infatuated with this person, unhealthily obsessed with them, like if you talked to one character in this universe, let’s call them c, c would say a is an emotionally detached bitch, while b would portray a as an angel and perfect. They will list flaws as reasons why they are the best person in the world. And I want b to be extremely religious so that they sorta (genuinely?) believe a is like god or something.

I want b to be willing to do anything for a, like if a wanted b to cause the heat death of the universe b would die trying to do just that

I also want their obsession with a to be very unnoticeable to the public eye, and I want a to know the lengths b will go for them and use that to their advantage

I want a to eventually become (unhealthy) possessive of b and even though they won’t admit it, just as infatuated with b and b’s devotion as b is with them (in their own manipulative way of course)
