Was playing with colors yesterday since I usually strictly stick to my characters' color palette instead of getting funky with the colors. I still have a long way to go in terms of loosening up with coloring, but it was fun to try something new anyways!

Things I drew today :-) - 4/17/24

I already posted the comic with Lars and Cheeto in it earlier, so the other two are new. Mosty just conceptual thoughts, from brainstorming an environment for two of my god characters (INATAY + PAMILAY) to integrating an old old ooold character of mine to Havens.

A Silent Thank-you.

Being the Deity of Knowledge, she is the only god of Havens to have taken a Vow of Silence for the protection of their inhabitants. In her true form, she does not provide more wisdom than her fellow deities already know, nor does she do the bidding of mortals who wish to take her knowledge with nothing more than a mere request. Her body is an archive for all that is and will be for Havens. And as such, she knows of its creator that takes such drastic measures to never be seen unless needed.

In silent thanks, during the single moment she was able to finally meet the creator of her beloved universe, she allows PAMILAY to see her smile, just as PAMILAY had allowed her to see his hesitant form. Although a seemingly small action on the surface, she had bestowed upon him a deep sign of trust and appreciation for the god that could create such a wonderful and inquisitive world.

Misc. Doodles - March Edition!

A homie of mine suggested Dungeon Meshi to me recently, and I ended up reading the whole manga because I was so impatient to wait for episodes. I really loved the clear love they had for drawing their characters and including all the small details, so I tried replicating a portion of that with Bana in that first picture. It's not complete, but I am not sure if I'll have the motivation to finish that one, so I am including it here now. Was fun though :-)

Second image is a doodle that came from a draft @aless-was-here did! The characters displayed are also theirs (from L -> R: Andrea, Rage, Martina). So full credit to them for even brewing up the idea and laying it out. I just drew over a portion of their draft after I asked them if I could. THANKS ALEGG XOXOXOXO

Went to the renaissance fair with the homies over the weekend! :-)))

Going off my excitement of the new Elden Ring DLC coming out, I wanted to give one of my new years goals a try, which was doing a fake screenshot of a boss fight. In hindsight I probably could have done more (like add an item/healthbar layout for Bana), but as of right now, I am content with how much I got done.

Also, I'd like to note that the Lord is not actually one lady, but multiple rat ladies tied together by their tails under that mossy coat. Inspired by a rat king, a concept one of my homies suggested I could base her off of!

VALENTINES DUDES ARE BACK!! ! ! ! (featuring Daniel and Adam)

my little ramble of this relation:

I like to think that one of their first miscommunications would be how touchy Adam is compared Daniel. As well-meaning Adam is when showing physical affection with his friends/family/lovers, it probably takes a few fights and a couple of post-argument conversations before these two work out that Daniel lashes out because he gets overwhelmed when people invade his personal space without explicit permission, while Adam was mistakenly perceiving those lash-outs as Daniel just hating his guts.

Obviously this doodle would be after all of that, where they can practice healthy communication and setting of boundaries. and I think it is very sweet that they can get the time to develop that hehehhee
