All the tarp you see are human bodies. How many of those tarp covered bodies didn't make it to see their 18th birthday? How many didn't get to see the 1st birthday of their child? How many didn't get to celebrate retirement? These are human lives being ripped away at an alarming rate.

There should be no reason you can't step outside without seeing a decomposing child, mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, uncle, aunt, brother, sister, friend, or lover.

They had lives and yet they are buried next to the sidewalk? Would you be okay with your loved one being buried next to the sidewalk? No. No you wouldn't.

almost as if the entire point is that vampires are unethical monsters, literally leeches with a human appearance, that cannot be redeemed.

the only possible way for them to stay alive without hurting or scamming people would be to have a group of people (because they definitely wouldn't be able to subsist off only one person without killing them) who love them and know they're a vampire and who are fine with giving them their blood......

unless they're getting benevolent blood donations from their local community who wants to help them stay alive and support them for being a good neighbor, that'd just be a cult.

I know that’s kind of the go-to thing to show that a vampire character is “one of the good ones” or whatever but it actually seems a little bit more fucked up for a vampire to steal blood from a blood bank than for a vampire to attack people for blood, at least as long as it’s not the kind of vampire where a bite is instantly lethal like it never stops bleeding. 

People can recover from losing some blood but blood bank blood is constantly in short supply and is reserved for people who imminently need blood transfusion of a specific blood type or else they die.

The Montgomery bus boycott lasted for over a year. That means that people walked everywhere for over a year. This is going to require sacrifice. It must be strange being Sonic the "my arch nemesis built a robotic copy of me but is now treating that copy of me like a son?" Hedgehog.
