Nakba, the forced expulsion of a million Palestinians from their own land, marks the beginning of the tragedy for the Palestinians, who continue to suffer at the hands of the Israeli occupiers.
On May 15, 1948, more than 750,000 Palestinians were violently expelled from their ancestral land, while Isr@eli forces destroyed 500 villages and towns to establish the Zionist state.
Today, 76 years later, “the Nakba never ended”, and the photos are in color.
Whatever lie the zionist made, it's useless. History and truth will always exist in the heart of humans. No matter what they do, it can never be destroyed.
The Gaza E-Sims project has posted that they need more e-Sims from a variety of sources! E-sims are among the only ways people in Gaza are able to remain connected and coordinate care outside Gaza for things such as GoFundMe's or being able to talk to their loved ones and remaining up to date on what's happening!! Israel has still cut off communication and is even actively trying to make it harder for the people in Gaza trying to connect. Internet and telecommunications is a human right these days, especially given that Palestinians have been repressed for nearly a century.
The process super easy to do and there's a guide on their insta and also at gazaesims.com on how to buy and send the sims to be redeemed. If you can't afford to buy one now, please share this because e-Sims are incredibly important right now for Palestinians!
don't let anyone tell you the tiktok ban is not directly related to Palestine because they're literally admitting it:
Blinken blames TikTok and social media for disrupting Israel’s narrative of war in Gaza
Social media sites like TikTok are partly to blame for widespread criticism of Israel’s war effort against Hamas in Gaza, according to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
The comments came as part of a conversation at the McCain Institute’s 2024 Sedona Forum in Sedona, Arizona, between Secretary Blinken and US senator Mitt Romney.
The Utah Republican asked the top diplomat why “the PR has been so awful” against Israel since the beginning of the 7 October conflict.
“Why has Hamas disappeared in terms of public perception?” he continued. “An offer is on the table for a ceasefire and yet the world is screaming about Israel.”
Mr Blinken said that part of the reason for that dynamic was a changing media environment, where people no longer all read from the same authoritative news sources and instead learn about current events on chaotic social media feeds.
[...]
The comments echoed a wider narrative that’s been put forth about critics of Israel in the US, particularly on college campuses: that their criticisms don’t stem from the facts of the conflict, and instead are the product of alarming outside influence.
New York mayor Eric Adams recently accused students at universities of falling under the sway of “outside agitators,” though the NYPD has offered little compelling evidence to support that charge.
Protesting students interviewed by The Independent said they had been moved to act by seeing images of destruction and suffering caused by Israel in Gaza, with the full backing of the US.
Let's keep in mind the horrifying reality that way more than 35,000 Palestinians have been murdered by Israel. That's just a total of deaths directly from bombs, etc. There's deaths from intentional starvation, succumbing to injuries and other medical emergencies because of destruction of hospitals, and so on and so forth.
I know I run a fandom blog, but I can't in good consciousness not talk about what's happening in Brazil.
Rio Grande do Sul, my home state, is underwater. The floods are reaching 9 meters in height. Over 74 thousand people are now homeless, and over 300 cities out of the 497 cities in the state are in critical condition. In marginalized cities, the gangs are demanding to be paid to save people. There are 74 confirmed deaths, but that number will grow exponentially once the water is low enough that we can actually see the bodies-- the estimate for right now is over 1000 deaths. This tragedy will become a yearly event because of the utter incompetence of our governor and our president. There are multiple hospitals filled with people who needed to be treated for hypothermia that got flooded and now the patients are stuck inside.
I'll leave below the information to donate money to the government, but if I find any links related to non-profit organizations I will be making other posts about it. If you're American, your donations would be even more important. 5 dollars is equivalent to 20 reais. That's enough to buy someone a meal, or a blanket, or clothes that aren't soaked in dirty river water, or most common medications.
If you have no money at all, please just spread the word. It will encourage other countries to send help our way because Brazil was entirely unprepared for this disaster. Ask your representatives to help us.

They have placed tanks at the Egyptian border. No one can escape and no aid can come in. 1.4 million civilians, many of whom are children, are trapped in a tiny area.
