And one more swatch-y photo set, this time the City Of Pastel Lights palette by Rude Cosmetics. These are also beautiful, they can be built up so the colours are really visible, but one of the shades did not swatch that well, it really took a lot swirling in the pan to get it to show up - Twin Pinks. The rest was amazing though.

So, the first bunch of swatches because I love swatching, it really calms me down. This is the City of Neon Lights palette by Rude Cosmetics and I simply love it - the colours blend really easily, they are creamy and pigmented.

Colourful, because why not. Yet another Cats-inspired eye look. 

Eyeshadow palette: NYX Cosmetics Modern Dreamer Highlighter: Mermaid Heart by I Heart Revolution Eyeliner: literally every single bloody eyeliner I could find in a vain hope that one of them would not smudge. Sidenote: they all did.  Silver eyeliner: the same hellish round thingy that I used for Demeter’s look, only silver. Made by Dermacol. 

I’m halfway through the next chapter of A Night to Remember, but I took a moment for makeup today. Things I learned today: eyeliner is evil. EVIL. Anyway, allow me to present a smudged eye look inspired by a certain conjuring cat who produced seven kittens right out of a hat (hence the smudged hat and the even more smudged seven paw prints).

Look at that, yet another Cats inspired makeup! Why? Because I resolved to master eyeliner and not looking like a goddamn panda was apparently not a good enough reason for me! And surprise, this time I probably...ish...even remember what the products were! ...except I don’t remember the names and can’t check them because I’m not at home and I’m way too lazy to check online, but hey, better than the last one! 

Eyeshadow palette: Love Lust Disco palette by NYX Cosmetics, you know, the gold one The gold eyeliner: very probably a gold eyeliner by Dermacol, can’t remember the name, but its round bottom drives me CRAZY because it won’t stand anywhere, I hope its designer steps on a piece of Lego!  Lipstick: NYX Machinist lipstick - Ignite (oh look, I remembered something!) 

Phew. That hurt my brain. 

I feel like I’m absolutely useless these days, I have no energy for writing…but I promise I’ll have another chapter ready soon. In the meantime, have another Cats makeup thingy, this time inspired by Demeter and her double liner. And if you have any Jellicles you’d like to see my spin on, just let me know.

Yet another reblog - Cats Bombalurina. I wish I remembered more of the products used, but I’m pretty sure the lip colour was a NYX cosmetics matte lip cream and the eyes were a combination of whatever I could find because that’s how I roll. Also, not even a truck of concealer can cover up the bags under my eyes, but hey, my phone’s shitty camera blurred out most of my wrinkles, so yay for that!

Reblogging from my fanfiction side blog. An eye make-up inspired by Mr. Mistoffelees from the Cats musical. 

Since I love playing with make up, I thought I’d like to try including some Cats vibes into my everyday looks. I tried Misto first - changed my eyebrow shape to resemble his, did a strong liner in a similar shape that Jacob Brent wore in the 1998 movie and used a lot of black, silver and white for the look. Light and neutral lip to make the eyes dominant…what else? Oh yes, the camera on my phone sucks. Anyway, I was going for something wearable-ish with Cats vibes and will definitely do more characters later. Enjoy!
