It was indescribable how Blake could find his wife’s hues and still feel the nostalgic budding butterflies that ran wild in his stomach when he realized he was falling for her. “The comments I pay attention to are yours, baby. Yours are the only ones that matter to me,” he whispered into her ear admittedly, his hand smoothing over the curves of her hips before his index finger played with the elastic of her undergarments. There was a plethora of premonitions that began to filtrate the younger male’s mind, without hesitation that was warranted to simulate what it was exactly he wanted to do with her. With her hovering over him, it was the warm air of her breath that lingered as he inhaled it with anticipation, and the gentle gesture of marking her territory on his neck that chills launched the chain reaction down his tense back muscles. “Shit,” he coughed up weakly, fingertips dancing over the lining of her hips as a sheepish grin spread across his features. “I’ll take you down right now if that’s what you want,” the maturity he held within his patience was beginning to dissolve into a puddle on the floor. “I’ll take you down...right...now,” Blake repeated, arching his back up to reach up to her as his teeth latched onto her earlobe, tugging at it hungrily.

Holidays weren’t truly an amicable time in the previous Gray household. With the absence of any familial support from either side, it often fell on deaf ears when the holidays came around. However, with the tiny family of their own that they had, it was more of the quality time the male enjoyed than his immediate others. Vowing to himself and their girls that he would never deny them the love and care and nurturing they needed to thrive in the chaotic world they turned in. Barely opening his eyes, the silhouette of the sun bled through the curtains as an alarm clock to announce the morning. Consequently, it wasn’t until his wife sauntered into their room with a plan devised in her mind, he was sure of. “Good morning, gorgeous,” eyes lined her body up and down like a scanner enveloped in her beauty. “That’s a coincidence because this boy woke up with an appetite for you,” he mused, humming out his words as his hands immediately began to explore the shape of her body he had memorized since they were sixteen years old. “I have to keep up with my love, I mean you’ve got abs for days but we already knew that,” he replied with a soft smirk crossing his features.

Ariel  loved that she could get her husband worked up just over twitter, and hollidays were always a very small things for the Grays , for some years  it was just them, and they had Birdie who made them start to do a little more and now that they had Maggie their holidays would only get bigger. With both families and their sides wanting nothing to do with them it was easy to get caught up with just their daughters and eachother which was always just fine with Ariel she loved her little family and she loved the time they got to spend, but with not needing to start cooking for a little bit longer and both girls still sleeping  she decided to tease her husband some. Coming up behind him with just her robe covering herself up “ So I wasn’t kidding about your first meal” she said kissing his back and wrapping her arms around him. “ Damn boy, you work out or what?” she laughed

i love this woman. like, really really really love this girl. sometimes it scares me how much. we’ve been together so long it felt just like human nature. we grew from child best friends to high school sweethearts who promised forever before we even knew what that meant. and we fought, a lot. we were so dramatic that it was probably only for two days but it felt like a week. and every second of those two days i missed being with you even more. and then we had birdie and our whole world turned upside down. nobody supported us, nobody told us that we were strong enough to make it through. our families basically disowned us and instead we created one of our own. i never thought i could love you more until our daughter was born. the first week i had no idea what to do with her, but you taught me that kind of love. a love that was so unconditional that has never been forgotten. the jitters i had when i held your hand on our very first date still flutter in my stomach when i look you in the eyes. you are my safe place. my home. you will always make me as nervous as i was when i was ten years old and so naive and innocent to when we’re grey haired and pushing each other’s wheelchairs in our old age. it’s the feeling that i know will forever grow and flourish every moment because i can’t believe i get to spend forever with you.
