So it's looking like the majority of the streaming issues I've been having since February were probably due to outdated OBS cookies, rather than the wrath of the sun alone. :B

Which makes sense from several angles. How do you end up with outdated cookies? Just by updating OBS regularly like a responsible streamer. I suspect that the other streamers who have been having similar stream connection issues as me are likely suffering from the same cause, because we've all been updating our software around the same dates.

So it will be interesting to note what my stream connectivity is like today, since I deleted my OBS cookies yesterday and that made a world of difference BUT today is forecasted to be a high solar storm activity day... will be fascinating if I don't have any disconnects.

Either way, it's kinda funny the tried and true cure-all for internet troubles continues to be so successful. DELETE YOUR COOKIES AND CLEAR YOUR CACHE!!!

Looks like 16:9 is the common ratio for both monitors and cellphones (just vertical instead of horizontal), so that's good to know.

Dilemma: I wanna up my exclusive monthly offerings on my patreon, and I was thinking wallpapers might be a relatively low-stress option.... but uh I've been using the same monitor and resolution (1920x1080) for the past 10 years and I honestly don't know if it's the standard anymore... :B

And thinking about making more than maybe 3 different resolutions available is making my head spin. >_<

I wonder if there's a list of standard screen ratios out there that might make this simpler...

As much as I wanna lump all the blame on my shitass ISP, I really suspect it's Twitch being cheapskates and not getting sufficient magnetic shielding for their servers. (Or something)

Cuz while I do notice a general slowdown across the net during these solar storms, it's ONLY Twitch that's giving me constant disconnects. I had no issues streaming through Discord yesterday.
