Stiles rolled his shoulders, trying to release some of the tension like Allison said. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly, his grip on the bow loosened some.

He let Allison move his arms and fingers to wherever she thought they need to be; his elbow up a bit higher closer to his ear, his fingers spread over the bow just a bit more spread out. He pulled back on the string, but she tapped his wrist and he eased up on his taunt he was pulling.

“Better?”

Allison smiled. “You’re a quick learner. Why didn’t you come to me earlier with this. I like teaching.”

“So, shoot.“ Allison narrowed her eyes following Stiles’ arms and waiting for him to shoot and predicting if he would get the target.

From aside the moment could seem very dramatic and heartbreaking and it definitely was but as Lydia said those words Allison smiled. Lydia, her beloved Lydia would never change. In any circumstances. “I get it, but...” She said knowing Lydia’s reaction to her BUT.

I love you too much to let you suffer. Thats was what was rotating in her mind and she almost said it but felt her throat dry and suddenly could not hold her tears. 

She didn’t want to die.

Allison swallowed her tears not daring to look Lydia in the eye. She knew it crystal clear that she let her down. The only person who never turned her back on her and waited the same from Allison.

But Allison was too busy revenging for her mother’s death, shooting arrows left and right to notice that Lydia was silently crying for help. For her, Allison’s help.
