Some of us are very aware of what happened to the children of Israel. The scriptures and the verses are clear. However, they incurred what befell them because of what they did. Because of that, they were taken advantage by many different ethnic groups as well as those who claim to be Jews. Most of them ended up in worse conditions, like worshiping three gods in one, claiming Jesus as the son, etc. Thru all of that some found their way back by Allah's permission and found out about their ancestors and what their ancestors did that caused them to end up in that situation (myself included). The scriptures are clear when they talk about Abraham's seed, what would happen to his seed, but it also is clear when it talks about his seed turning from their wicked was and coming back to Allah. All the prophets were Muslim, including Moses. He taught them to submit their will to do Allah's will. That's the problem, they didn't. My aim is understanding and reclaiming my heritage. I reverted to Islam about 35 years ago. I still am Muslim, insha Allah I always will be. There are those finding out what happened and who they are, and those are the ones who need to know why it happened, so that they don't end up in the fire. Allah talks about the Jews in the Qur'an and there is much history that shows how some Jews rejected the Prophet (SAW), and some converted.

None of this has anything to do with becoming one of those who rejected the teachings of Moses. It all has to do with learning who and where you came from, what happened, and what we are suppose to do now (submitting to do Allah's will) like we were supposed to in the first place. I repeat I know the teachings of Islam, especially the last sermon, where there is no white over black and vice versa. I also know about Satan, the man of perdition striping, the righteous of their garments and putting them on as if he was righteous. The Qur'an confirms the truth of all of Allah's books, it is what governs the truth of His prophecies. This is one of His prophecies, and it is being fulfilled. What's needed is to make sure that these people come back to Islam, and not back to what caused them to get exiled in the first place. That's part of our mission as Muslims, but most of us wouldn't know because we've discarded the Bible.
