Nivereth for the wonderful only_fiends! I asked if I could base her design on lilies and snowdrops after seeing her beautiful in-game model and she graciously said yes 💮 I built her skirt out of a lily blossom, and her wrist cuffs, shoes, and shoulder pieces are designed after snowdrops. Her hair is also made of snowdrops, and the ties in her hair and on her dress are lily stamens.⁠ ⁠ I love working on plant-based designs 💚⁠

can i be real with you guys for a minute. the more i hear about the wizard tower the more i really do not care about the wizard tower

honestly i could write a lot of posts abt eir and rytlock, i probably have like 5 in my drafts

but it all boils down to, there IS a double standard when people who love rytlock but hate eir.

and eir was specifically not told that bjore had passed, because bjore himself didn't want her to feel like she had to come back to raise braham. to expect her to drop everything to raise braham is an incredibly misogynistic take from the fandom, especially when not even the father of the child thought she should feel obligated to, from a cultural standpoint! and she did make sure braham was cared for, to the best of her knowledge, before leaving him behind.

they both knew that not being around made them less deserving of just showing up and expecting to be part of their kids' lives. they both had cultural obligations, and hell, world-saving obligations, that kept them away.

neither is perfect, by any means, but that's what makes them interesting!

You played GW2. On a laptop. What.

my palms and thumbs were always burned from resting on it because it got so so hot. I had it on a cooling fan but it still got hot enough to change the color of the wood underneath. I also didn't have a mouse so I did everything with track pad, and no desk so I played laying on my belly on my bed. Do you still think I'm cute 🥺

22. How does jealousy manifest itself in them (they become possessive, they become aloof, etc)? 

She gives me the vibe of someone who just becomes aloof, especially after Icebrood. Like she knows people feel like she betrayed them, she knows she can't risk ruining what little good graces she still has, so she just.. retreats. Retreats and simmers in silence. She may talk to that person afterwards, in private, if she talks at all.

27. What causes them to feel dread? 

At this point, any type of manipulation. Not necessarily convincing, though that makes be a bit on edge as well sometimes, but straight up manipulation, especially subtle one. She can spot it well and it brings chills to her bones. For obvious reasons, of course.

38. What memory do they revisit the most often? 

These days, the moment she said yes to Jormag's corruption. She's stuck in this guilt-ridden loop of 'why did I do it, why did I do it' and she reminisces a lot; from happier memories, her childhood with her parents and training to be a shaman, that she knows she can never have again. She knows her parents don't really want to speak with her right now.

B) What inspired you to create them?

Okay this is someone I've been inspired by before and will continue to shout out as a good artist and like, oc haver but @pact-valkyrie's Britta gave me the first seeds of what would become the base idea of Eirene. Then, the question of redemption, how do you earn it, can you truly be redeemed if the fault is yours, which is also something I explore through Nyra's story as well, but in a decidedly different manner. Nyra's story has to do with war, Eirene's with faith. Different mediums, therefore, different stories!

El becomes possessive. If you're a romantic partner, for example, he will touch you or even climb in your lap if he has to if it shows the other person to just stay back and don't touch what's his.

27. What causes them to feel dread? 

Hurting people he loves. He knows he can be a violent person and most of the time, he's fine with it; but sometimes, he wishes he wasn't, as he can hurt those he loves. And when his temper flares, there is no stopping, he gets blinded by rage, doesn't know what he's doing and what he's saying, and it may end up having grave consequences. It's that that he dreads, even though he'll never admit it.
