BEST VOICE IN THE WORLD
Please take a moment to watch this video
This is a video of Dimash Kudaibergen singing “Opera 2″ by Vitas, the song with incredibly high notes getting attention on social media.
Dimash Kudaibergen is a 24 year old singer from Kazachstan, who got known by participating in in the singing contest “Singer 2017″ in China. He gained huge popularity in China due this show, which is honestly 10000% earned.
This 24 year old guy, is an incredibly talented and humble singer with a 6-Octave range, and he sings in many languages like Russian, Chinese, Kazach, French, English ect.
He participated in this year’s CBS The World Best, but decided to drop out. He specifcally asked before the show started whether he would have to battle children, and the answered him with “no”, which was a lie. So he quit the competition, threw away the chance of winning a million dollars, and gaining more popularity, to protect his morals.
His talent, and his amazing personality are part of the reason why he should become more known to the world, which is why I’m asking you to watch this video!

Dear John,  I remember when we first met in Walton, at the Village Fate  - it was a beautiful summer day, and I walked in there, and you were on the stage, and you were singing “Come Go With Me” by the Del Vikings.  But you didn’t know the words, so you made them up.  “Come go with me to the penitentiary,” it’s not in the lyrics.
Tumblr media
I remember writing our first songs together.  We used to go to my house, my dad’s house, and we used to smoke Taifu tea with this pipe my dad kept in a drawer.  It didn’t do much for us, but it got us on the road.  We wanted to be famous.  I remember the visits to your mum’s house, Julia - she was a very handsome woman, very beautiful woman - she had long red hair, and she played a ukelele.  I’d never seen a woman who could do that.
Tumblr media
I remember having to tell you the guitar chords, ‘cause you used to play the ukelele chords.

And then on your 21st birthday, you got 100 pounds off of one of your rich relatives up in Edinburough, so we decided we’d go to Spain.  So we hitchhiked out of Liverpool, and we got as far as Paris. We decided to stop there for a week, and eventually got our hair cut by a fellow called Jurgen.  And that ended up being the Beatle haircut.
Tumblr media
I remember introducing you to my mate, George, my schoolmate, and him getting into the group by playing “Raunchy” on the top deck of the bus.  You were impressed.

And when we met Ringo, who had been working the whole season at Butlin’s Holiday Camp, he was a seasoned professional.

“Although McCartney has lost people close to him since he was a young teenager, the death of George 16 months ago came as a shattering blow. “It was different from my mum’s and John’s and Linda’s because theirs were sudden and we knew George had been very ill for a while. “But it was very, very sad because I loved him so much,” says McCartney in his Barcelona dressing-room, still choked by the loss of the life-long pal he persuaded John Lennon to let into The Beatles all those years ago. “I’d just been through cancer with Linda and here I was going through it all over again with a mate of 50 years. He wasn’t my immediate family but he almost was. He’d always felt like my little brother.” He takes a breath, focuses on a point in the distance, mutters “What a lovely boy” then carries on. “The last time I met him, he was very sick and I held his hand for four hours. As I was doing it I was thinking, ‘I’ve never held his hand before, ever. This is not what two Liverpool fellas do, no matter how well you know each other.’ “I kept thinking, ‘He’s going to smack me here.’ But he didn’t. He just stroked my hand with his thumb and I thought, ‘Ah, this is OK, this is life. It’s tough but it’s lovely. That’s how it is.’ I knew George before I knew any of the others and I loved that man. I’m so proud to have known him. “Still, as sad as it was, you take the great bit, which was that last time you saw him, and that’s what you remember. That and all the other lovely memories.””
— Paul McCartney, interview w/ Brian Reade for The Mirror. (April 7th, 2003)

(Note: This was originally an ask dear @smileawaysmileaway sent me late last year. As they decided they were uncomfortable with showing their email address publicly, I privated the post shortly after replying to it. If only for archival purposes and a reminder to myself to post the Get Back sessions excerpt I mention, I’m now reposting the ask and my reply with the email address censored.)

I have but a silhouette of a perspective on what happened, if that makes any sense; it is, conceptually, Schrödinger’s India where everything and nothing happened at the same time.
You have reminded me of certain discussions and speculative points brought up in the past that I’ve been piqued by, though, in relation but not exclusive to whatever did or didn’t happen in India, so do look forward to a small Quotes for Curious Contemplation post in the near future. In the meantime, for your, well, contemplation, here are a few intriguing excerpts I transcribed from the Get Back/Let It Be sessions on January 25th, 1969, when Paul brings up the film footage he’s just seen of their sojourn in Rishikesh:
PAUL: It’s great. It’s incredible, you know, just to sort of see us, what we’re doing.
GEORGE: What were you doing?
JOHN: Yes, what were we doing?
PAUL: Well, uh…
GEORGE: Except…
PAUL: I don’t really know, you know. [John chuckles] But it’s like we totally put our own personalities on there, for the sake of it. And you can really see, you know.
GEORGE: Do you regret having gone there?
PAUL: No, no. Oh no, no. I mean, you know.
GEORGE: I mean, I feel as though like—
PAUL: No, I just think what we did there—
JOHN: I don’t regret anything. Ever. Not even Bob Wooler.
PAUL: No, I just think what we did there – uh, we didn’t take – we weren’t really sort of truthful, there. You know.
PAUL: It’s that thing, you know. We probably should have sort of—
JOHN: Been ourselves.
PAUL: Yeah. A lot more, yeah.
GEORGE: That is the biggest – that’s the like, the joke, the biggest joke, to be yourselves. Because that was the purpose of going there—
JOHN: Yeah, but I was like—
GEORGE: —to try and find out who yourself really is.
JOHN: Yes. Well, we found out, didn’t we.
GEORGE: And if you were really yourself, we wouldn’t be any of who we are now.
PAUL: Hm.

“But, then rather than dwell on [the circumstances of John’s death] I immediately go to the fantastic times we had and how lucky and privileged I feel to be one of the people who spent the most time with him during his life, having met him as a teenager. People start these rumours: ‘He was this, he was that.’ I say: ‘Look, I’ve slept with him.’ We’ve done hitch-hiking holidays and we’ve had to top and tail it because there was only one bed. I say: ‘I knew him’. And, we’d get drunk together and do all those kinds of things that you find out about people. The bottom line, I think what everybody already knows, he was a fantastic man, really fantastic guy. Just as a man, as an activist, he is one of the great men of the 20th century. I’m just very proud to have known him so intimately from when we were kids to virtually the end all the way through. I do (have a connection) and I don’t expect it to go even though we are separated by death. It’s just something I will always feel, some sort of link with John. That’s for sure.” - Paul McCartney
