Brand lifestyle photoshoot for Somsola Shop to inspire customers with all the ways to wear the colourful jewellery and different ways to use the decorative semiprecious gemstones to decorate your home. Themes for the photoshoot were decorating with semiprecious gemstones, using them for meditation and wearing the jewellery for occasions such as weddings, pictured here. Imagery to be used for in-shop marketing, online shop banners and content, emails, social media, on- and offline advertising as well as campaigns.
Imagery will also be used for an upcoming book on gemstones by Sari McGlinn, to be published by Harmoniahuone in 2018.

Latest online shop re-design for VALO lifestyle. Key areas of focus were speeding the shopping cart journey, improving navigation and general customer experience, creating a further paired down fresh design with a new, customisable Shopify template. Shifting focus to a more image led design for the front page to make the design more engaging and encourage interaction. 
Adding an app that recommends similar products to style or shop when visiting a product page, selecting these recommendations by hand. Updating the blog and creating an ‘As Seen On’ blog page where all press and influencer visibility is featured.

Printed branding materials for VALO lifestyle, a unisex stationery and jewellery brand informed by a paired down Nordic aesthetic, inspired by gemstones. A cohesive brand story through all materials was key, as well as giving the customers of the online shop a personalised ‘human’ experience through handwritten thank you cards included with all orders. Timeless, paired down designs with semiprecious gemstone imagery coupled with lightweight, minimal fonts to create a compelling brand experience and communicate the feel of luxury through the materials.

Packaging for VALO lifestyle stationery and unisex line of jewellery. All designed to fit the affordable luxury brief for the Nordic lifestyle brand.
JEWELLERY is packaged in paired down, clean white boxes with an embossed logo and white interior, finished off with either a pearl grey or purple ribbon. Each piece of jewellery comes with a printed jewellery care guide folded neatly inside the box.
STATIONERY is packaged in a clear plastic sleeve to protect it from elements, closed with a round sticker label and finished off by carefully folding it with white tissue paper held in place by a round logo sticker.
All orders are delivered with a couple of inspirational quote notecards, a folded mini brochure of the gemstones used in the jewellery and a handwritten thank you note. Purchases made at a popup are additionally wrapped in tissue and placed in a luxe white paper bag with rope handles and a round logo sticker on one side.

Branding and -guidelines for VALO lifestyle, a unisex stationery and jewellery brand informed by a paired down Nordic aesthetic, inspired by gemstones. Our aim was to create a brand that communicates a clean Nordic aesthetic injected with a dash of humour through the generally white design, complemented by accents of colour. These guidelines will inform you of the colours, fonts, logo versions, uses, brand imagery and -language that form the core of the brand. Timeless, paired down designs and carefully considered details that communicate the ‘affordable luxury’ brand positioning of VALO lifestyle with accents of colour to to avoid making it feel too bare or ‘clinical’.
