I’m told if I write this down, my thoughts will clear and I’ll be able to move on. So, I’ll write it here. Open for the Abyss to hear and respond or quietly agree, no judgement.
I’ll miss you. Sucks to know that it had to end like this, but I can understand why you needed to leave. Whatever last words you wanted to say, I can feel them in a way. And understand that I’ll never judge you based on what you had to do for yourself. I’m just sad and angry at myself for not being a better friend, not providing a better life, or not providing a safer space for you.
You were a blazing star in the night sky that shed light on the shadows and darkness of life. A beacon that guided me to do things I wouldn’t have been able to do on my own really. I thank you for that. While you may have dimmed, I know you’re still there, you’re just shedding your light somewhere else.
If you happen to see this, I hope wherever you are, how ever you are, you’re happy and cozy. Safe from the horrors and relieved of the suffering you needed to endure. If you happen to see this, know you’re in my thoughts always and forever and I’ll never forget you. Know that no matter what I love and cherish you and our memories are something I hold very close to me. I’ll miss your laughter, I’ll miss your teasing, and most importantly I’ll miss your soul. But I think and know it’s time for us to move on.
We will reconnect later, I’m sure of it. <3
