Hi. I'm creating this challenge to find out if I have any chance of getting a high score on the LSAT, which is a standardized test that as a non-US citizen I am a complete stranger to. My first encounter with it was 140 days ago, on February 22, to get a diagnostic score. Now that the semester and my second academic year is over, I want to start studying.
Warning: My only resource will be Khan Academy's Official LSAT Prep as it is, well, official and also free. Depending on the results of the challenge, if I keep studying for the LSAT, I might end up buying a course, textbook or whatever.
100 DAYS OF STUDYING FOR LSAT CHALLENGE
The goal is to see how much I can improve my score in 100 days, continuously studying until October 26. After it, if I'm hopeful, I will keep studying. If not and Harvard Law and other prestigious schools don't seem realistic, I will start to focus on applying to graduate schools.
RULES:
Study every day. Everyone has busy or unmotivated days. What matters is that I keep studying daily and, at worst, doing the bare minimum.
Go along with the practice plan. I don't know what I will be thinking later on, but, for now, Khan Academy seems good at this.
Take notes. I have many notebooks, I will just take one and use it for the challenge. Lessons? Write them down. Reviewing? Write each false question down. Practices? You know what to do. Don't be lazy.
Finish at least one lesson each day. I will mostly follow the recommendations, which are supposed to be personalized, but I may just go through the lessons list as well. I can start with the intro page.
Do practice tests on Sundays. No skipping, and I will do them all timed, too. Btw, I can take the day off lesson-wise and spend it for a review. And, yes, reviews are absolutely necessary for each and every practice test. If everything goes well, I will have finished all of them on the second week of October. After that, I will go on with the sample tests.
- Start date TBA
I'm aiming at reaching 180 at the end of the challenge, of course, but it's a rather symbolic score that means just improve as much as you can. Shoot for the moon, you know.
