Yibo's smile that day was extra sweet 🥰

okay, you know what, i will talk about it now before i get buried in watching the show and editing. plus i also work to do lol. anyway, what cpfs are screaming about is this portion of the live stream where the host said : wish the both of them can stand side by side on top of the snowy mountain ; referring to the characters on the show, wei ruolai and shen tunan. it’s actually fine of you think about it, this saying is not all exclusive to bxgs and bjyx. maybe she was just saying it since it applied to the conversation and her hopes for the characters.

but what gets us 👀

1. the host’s reaction lol. how she went out of frame like she is embarrassed or maybe realized what she said. but i don’t think it was said with malicious intent. i hope she doesn’t get attacked.

2. WANG YIBO’S SMILE WTF. Dude. I’m out here poker face-ing my way when this was said but he was all obvious and 😏😏😏 like he knows and appreciates what was said. he was smile-y and sort of talkative and gracious in the live, but this smile was something else. it was so freakin sweet! helppp! he is not making it easier for us. you can say he appreciates it and that’s why he smiled but this is someone who definitely knows what that phrase means and it’s relation to him. cpfs took light signs of that phrase in CQL fanmeets and beyond — so it’s not impossible for him to understand. and remember that TTXS episode? he said that phrase too. lol.

for all the insinuation ( from haters ) that he doesn’t appreciate cpfs or even his time during cql, this smile says different. no words are needed. and that’s what yibo is as a person, he is more about actions.

3. IQIYI deleted this part in the playback of the live. LOL. they are saying it has to be removed because the line is from CQL, trademarked by Tencent. but i have a different take. they don’t wanna anger some people — a lot of them, watching the show. they don’t want a cotti coffee incident. it’s fine. i’m not gonna argue with toddlers who frequently have tantrums. i’m gonna be the adult here and let it be. 😌😌😌

i hope this doesn’t go on HS. i would rather this one below stay up, just to avoid drama.

Hey remember when Xiao Zhan went to Milan for Fashion Week, not even a month ago? When he showed up looking like this?

(Sorry not sorry for the emotional damage, I missed posting on Tumblr for a few months, and I need this photo on my blog...)

Anyway, XZS produced an amazing vlog afterwards, as they do, and in the middle of it, there's a sequence of screens quoting a line from the movie, Mary Poppins:

The quote is: "Winds in the east, mist comin' in, like something is brewing and about to begin. Can't put my finger on what lies in store, but I feel what's to happen all happened before."

The line is spoken by Dick Van Dyke's character Bert, a chimney sweep who's friends with the title character Mary Poppins (played by Julie Andrews). He says this shortly before Mary Poppins makes her dramatic entrance, with a windstorm that blows away all the rival nannies, clearing the way for her to glide in with her iconic umbrella and take the job as nanny to the Banks children.

OK, so why is this Mary Poppins quote in the XZS vlog?

A major theme in Mary Poppins is banking. The family that Mary Poppins works for is the Banks family. And the father, George Banks, is a banker. He tries to teach the kids the value of money, and there's a whole song about it that ends with the president of the bank stealing the Banks kids' tuppence (an old British coin worth two pence).

ANYWAY. Throughout the XZS vlog, Xiao Zhan is twirling a coin-shaped disc, flipping it, playing with it. It rolls around repeatedly in the video and refuses to be ignored.

XZS wanted us all to see the coin, and now we know why. Yibo has a new drama coming out, and it's about banking.

In the promos for Yibo's new drama, he's playing with a coin, and boy that's a coincidence, isn't it?

Today, Yibo himself posted a poster about the drama, and he's flipping a coin. Just as Xiao Zhan did in his vlog.

And the Mary Poppins quote about the wind coming? "Winds in the east, mist comin' in, like something is brewing and about to begin. Can't put my finger on what lies in store, but I feel what's to happen all happened before."

There have been a couple of Chinese titles for Yibo's new drama. In earlier promos it was called 长风破浪 (Brave the Wind and Waves) and now it's apparently 追风者 (Storm Chaser).

Either way, the title includes the character 风, which means "wind," and the titles evoke a kind of stormy feeling.

XZS was telling us the wind and mist was coming, a storm brewing, and now we've got Yibo's drama (with a stormy title) premiering in just days.

And yeah, "I feel what's to happen all happened before," because Xiao Zhan has absolutely done this before, getting excited about a new Yibo work premiering... remember when he did the movie ticket thing?

Xiao Zhan's brain is so big, and he's such a supportive partner to Yibo, I love to see it. I also can't wait to see Yibo's new drama, it looks so good!

this post is connected to the whole cotti drama that i talked about here & here. the brand has since then posted their statement and apologized, and make no mistake, this has nothing to do with cpf and even if they are szd. it’s all about pr damage control and wanting to gain back the loyalty of wyb’s core fans. i wanna say (sadly) this is not something new in c-ent. so/o fandoms do this all the time, they want the “best” for their idol so they throw tantrums and stage boycotts. what a lovely group of people, nope. brands (should) know this. that popular idols bring in their fandom/money, but one misstep can be a huge problem. for example with cotti, they had a collab with dove last year (august 2023) , xz was already endorsing them at the time but wyb wasn’t. so it’s not like this was done out of nowhere. they just did a repeat collab. but we all know the difference now.

i made a boxiao endorsement cpns post before and consider this as a continuation. cause funnily enough, some so/os started digging up previous “incidents”. thank you for giving us more examples i guess…. 😂😂😂

Redmi (p2) posting at 10:05 for the new year greeting and K70, Lowen (p3) doing the same and setting 10:05 as the time for sales to be opened. I already talked about shu uemura in my old post so better refer to that instead. Chanel (p7) selling perfume and how you can customize it, the example on their website is 肖战. i didn’t even know that happened. lol. i’m such a bad cpf. 😅😅😅

let me expound on p6 cause the photo is too small.

it says WYB got stuck at 10:05 card point 9 times.

so the examples are ariel (bilang), redmi, stride, ping an and then yibo himself. i think the example could the legendary colgate post ( if you know, you know. it’s a big fandom cpn ). and last is richora using 10:05 on their watch. so suspicious lol. must all be connected to XZ! i don’t get it! who is the cpf now??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

here are some more! this time, XZ brands/magazines trying to associate themselves with WYB by using the time 18 ( yibo ) or 08:05 p3 is crest. p4 is kxz and p5 is zhenguoli.

next is this one they dug out for GUCCI. it’s a customized tag. dude. why? do people really think this is a backhanded way from GUCCI trying to tie XZ and WYB? lol. This is obviously a CPF who bought from them and wanted that to be on there because they are a customer! Should GUCCI screen that? make sure every single customer doesn’t associate XZ with others? Make it make sense 🤪🤪🤪

li-ning using a design of someone skateboarding. lol. the brand has had their own street wear and skateboard line for some time now. and then breo japan tagging wyb on their twitter. which is i guess, more of a mistake on whoever their social media person is. they wanted more likes and saw xz and wyb are usually tied together so they added wyb.

lastly, the game xz was promoting before using 85. and then pokemon x dove collab. which is again — makes me go what??? pokemon is such a huge brand that companies love to collab with. as a cpf, i have boundaries when it comes to cpn, i even have disclaimers but i guess solo fans don’t. everything must be related! 👀

i guess there are more examples but these are the ones i have been seeing from so/o fans as proof. of what exactly? i don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️ coincidences for a lot of these and not an attempt to associate with someone. i can understand why some brands will do it back in 2019, during cql promos, because it was expected and they were actively promoting a show together.

so what are cpfs doing now? well. supporting cotti ( sample video here ) coffee as fans should and enjoying the unintentional candies the solo fans have prepared for us 😌😌😌

there are a lot bits and pieces still going around and being discussed about the hengdian clownery. personally, the most interesting is the fact that where wyb is supposed to be is 15 minutes away to where xz is staying in hengdian — and the timeline we are now piecing together. 🧩

where wyb was supposed to be is not actually inside “hengdian world studios” but as good as. to those who are confused because what people are posting is that douyin has him located in “dongyang” last 2/18 and allegedly last 2/2. well, this information below may explain why:

XZ is staying at Radisson Hotel which is where WYB also stayed when he did LOF and Luoyang. XZ used it too when he was filming YGY and this filming time was when an AUX appliance ( endorsed by WYB ) was found sent to the hotel. So you can say that they are familiar with this place so if there is somewhere to meet then this is their best bet. I’m pretty sure this place is discreet and employees may be given NDAs by companies that have their talents staying there. In this case, a VIP client like Xiao Zhan will not be there and continue to do so without specific arrangements done for him.

there is also a comment from someone who is familiar with Hengdian, that this hotel is close to the expressway, like 3-5 mins away. so it is convenient if you need to move around. we don’t really know anything about WYB’s movie or whatever project he is doing, but seeing this, it’s most likely in Zhejiang. this makes sense cause when the news about the location was out, others tested it and wyb was no longer 7km away but 30km. meaning he has left the hotel and posted on douyin on his way back to work. this is a classic meeting up on their part when their locations are close.

2/2 - WYB’s douyin IP is turned off. This only means his IP will not be visible in his profile, but his location can still be tracked when he posts something ( allegedly ). So it could be because he went to HD or they have plans of meeting up so it’s best to be safe.

2/5 - XZ went to Hangzhou to film his performance for BRTV spring festival gala. XZS shared a behind the scenes of that and one thing cpfs noticed was a particular suitcase. the comment was hilarious actually cause the fan was asking why the suitcase was so old and beat up 😂😂😂

turns out, this looks really similar to a suitcase wyb used back in 2016. it makes sense that it’s beat up and covered in different things now. i know that wyb is not the only person who can have this suitcase but this is just how cpns go. 🤷🏻‍♀️

my clown mind also likes the idea of wyb being there. it’s not as notorious as hengdian world studios with all the paparazzi. the place xz shot this at is pretty lowkey, so wyb can blend in if he visits.

2/9 - GG posted a selfie which has it’s variety of cpn speculations on it’s own. however, looking at it with what we have now — this makes more sense now:

the second photo shared by xz is really a clue. the ybo art was also so focused on how the ornament was placed. maybe yibo was the one who placed that? and it’s why xz was so fixated. ☺️

and so they were both quiet for the duration of the holidays. xz breaking that with the 5th day for the god of wealth — which is a stock video. i don’t fault him for that tho, he is free to relax.

2/13 - WYB has added some love songs to his qq playlist and the subjects of it : “accompanying is the longest love confession” and being happy despite of a cloudy day? It could be he is missing XZ, especially that Valentines Day is the next day. Maybe he traveled to closer to XZ on 2/14. Take note that XZ is continuously working on the drama, he only had a few days completely off.

2/17 - XZS posted a series of photos that some of his solo fans said is different from what was shared last year. It can be they couldn’t do any new materials because XZ was busy with work + WYB is there. Who knows when they will be able to spend this time together again. I like the idea of their staff respecting their time alone together. They both deserve it 🤎

not that we needed any more proof that xz somehow contributed to the birthday art ( comic ) for wyb’s 23rd birthday back in 2020 and for the years since. some people will say he is too busy, but we’ve seen him doing drawings on set while on standby at his trailer car. he is used to working fast to meet deadlines back when he was still an employee + even has the time to brainstorm with his team. just a quick refresher, the comic is this one and particularly the 3rd photo.

we’ve had pretty solid cpns back then about this and how it ties up to zz’s 2020 birthday art too here and even at the time, the resemblance between the yibo in the comic and how xz drew wyb back then was already similar. look at the features 👀

you can definitely make a whole post with multiple examples of why we think xz does some of wyb’s art. this is coming back because of one tiny detail that cpfs noticed —-

it’s a literal icing on the cake for this old cpn….🎂

the xzs studio gift box, like it usually does, has a calendar and the one for october has a cake “drawn” on the 5th (p1) which is GG’s birthday. some are saying it looks like the cake he drew for one of the vlogs (p2) and on his 2020 bday art (p4) which makes sense, cause this is xzs, so xiao zhan will definitely contribute.

but why do some details of it look eerily similar to the cake wyb was holding? does everyone draw a cake like this? lol. as i said, this is just an additional clue so feel free to doubt it or whatever.

as a cpf, this is one of those things where we get clues years later about something that more or less confirms our cpn. a huge chunk of cpns come with a disclaimer that it’s interpretation of someone who wants to see something. we have that bias. but when facts add into it, the candy becomes sweeter 🍬

Matching lawsuit 😎

just a disclaimer that i understand lawsuits are never a good thing for them. it’s long, tedious and expensive. also, most passer by don’t care and if they see the defamatory remarks, that will stick no matter how many clarifications are done or lawsuits won.

so on 1/15 yuehua released the developments of the lawsuits they filed and one of them is a big name fan of xz. and today, 1/19 xz’s law firm representative did the same and you can see a fan of wyb is there too. these so-called fans both slandered the other, so they are well within their rights to sue. even if most fans’ excuse is that they are “defending” their idol by being an absolute horrible & toxic person. not to mention, they are influencing their followers to do the same which can lead to bigger problems. although i have to say, those bnfs have no remorse. some even see it as a badge of honor for protecting their fave that they are being silenced. go figure 🤦‍♀️

these lawsuits are never about xz versus wyb. it’s them exercising their right to protect their reputation. if anything, it should be a warning to both sides to behave. there is just no universe where these two boys love the idea of their fans being internet criminals. both of them and their studios have communicated multiple times for fans to be civilized. it’s mostly toxic fan culture that feeds it.

now let me go to the cpn side of things, which is how this reminds us of that time they sued the same company. these recent lawsuits did not materialize overnight, i speculate that it’s been some time and both of them have agreed to do something about the slander going on. it’s not a coincidence too that the announcements happened days after the other. there are conversation on how xz’s team appeared to have sued first and then announced later because the statement said they already have the real name identification of the users. in the meantime, wyb’s side said they are still in the process of doing so to properly file it. so hilarious that some sea creatures are saying that xz is avenging them lol. so how did he know that wyb was gonna sue one of his fans? when his (xz) law firm did it first? there is no avenging going on. these two and their teams obviously talked to each other about this and have come to an agreement that they must stop the source of the problem. as they should. 💅🏻💅🏻💅🏻

it’s not only matching clothes, phone case, camera etc — now it’s matching lawsuits 😅😅😅

there is also an angle where cpfs are saying these two don’t sue turtles for slander. you all know some so/os would love for us to be sued because of CPN. but we have safety nets that we implement so as not to mention their real names, but that’s more of protecting them and less of not wanting to be dragged into a lawsuit. interpret that however you want. i’m not saying we can run free and do whatever we want, because if a cpf does something that is warrants legal actions, i will be all for it.

Cpn 2023 ☺️

in the last sugar rush post from 2023, @accio-victuuri asked us to list our top 5 cpns from last year but since I'm late I thought on doing a post. thank you for those recopilatory monthly posts, btw! they're very helpful and when you read them you also relive those beautiful moments. and overall for always keeping us updated about everything going on with our boys.

so here's my top 5 cpns from 2023

the inner mongolia saga: I decided to call it like that for everthing that happened from the moment xz went to film there. it started with yb's first selfie of 2023 and all the clowning about him perhaps visiting the loch set, the infamous black cloth, all the speculation about him owning a leica camera, the confirmation of him owning a leica camera, xz's birthday post that also had him posing with a leica camera, the camping pic, and everything culminating with yb's own pics taken in inner mongolia. honestly, september and october were such busy months to being a clown, I love how everything just developed little by little and fell like pieces of a puzzle.

the suspicious change on xz's filming schedule: when ybo reported that yb won't be able to participate in the star of the one and only promo period, everyone got worried, since when yb takes days off while sick? the next day tho, some reports came in; after days of going to film at a certain early time, xz was going a little bit late. "interesting" said every turtle in the world, "let's see how this continues". and boy, it did continue, casually until yb's recovery. a happy coincidence.

anniversary?: when we all thought nothing was toping the inner mongolia saga, november 19 happened. and to think everything started very innocently with yb updating his douyin and then everything scalating into the possibility of them sorting out the seriousness of their relationship one november 19... I honestly loved how everyone started to bring up years of clues and how it just made sense.

wedding outfit: this one is very self explanatory, their weinbo night outfits that strangely looked like wedding outfit. I would have loved to see them both walking out the red carpet but we all know how weinbo loves to self sabotage I mean I enjoy when they do that but not that night! I like to think that the reason why they chose those outfits is because their first weinbo night is also called "divorce night" and, after years of not attending the same event, they wanted to give us a wedding night. yes, I am that much of a clown, thank you.

ybo's birthday post: this one hit me so hard that I still tear up whenever I read "yb, the sunset is very beautiful". to most, that post it's just a very well written birthday wish, but if you're like me and believe xz wrote it then knowing that these two boys love each other so deeply is reason enough to warm your heart. "time does not have a pause button, yet you seem to hold the password for the occasional pauses in the world". cry with me 🥲

honorific mention to: THE hat (yb made it hard to ignore lmao), everything is lovely and its promo (at first I wasn't trying to read too much into the colors that were used to promote the ep but then the bone necklace appeared and changed my mind), mysterious driver (just so you all know I'm totally sold on this) and overall this year that seemed to have them together for longer periods of time.

photos were going around of a yibo vcr played in a chanel annual meeting in china. we were all happy to see wyb lookin so good and fresh faced, but what we noticed is his top.

the style of top he was wearing (p1) is very similar to that of GG’s (p2) at the airport when he was flying back to Beijing. it’s probably because the weather is getting colder so they wear this instead of their usual esspensive t-shirts?

the point is it’s kind of like the same-style in a close timeframe from each other. so it seems like their tastes in casual clothes are still very close.

i didn’t expect this omg. and so early in the morning? thank you for sending this to us right now instead of 31st and as if yesterday wasn’t busy enough so they do this to us now. i’m looking at the 9:05 kadian tho. maybe they wanted to get that as well.

This isn’t actually a CPN but more of a nostalgic thing for cpfs cause WYB was wearing Celine and it’s a brand that he often wore during CQL promotions. Celine never misses when it comes to him & I really wish he becomes their ambassador, if that’s even allowed, since he’s also working with Chanel. and the fact that this comes after GQ MOTY where he wore the hat that reminded us of CQL fan meet too. 🥹

some cpfs are likening these two shoots and how it was done at night and in the streets. it was pre filmed the night before the event. tho i would imagine that other can do this too, i personally love to see how certain photoshoots of theirs match. in this way, it’s better to edit them together.

Imagine if the 2 of them were in attendance!
