24th of February was the date of one of the biggest celebrations in Mongolia. It's called Lunar New Year ( ahem* Mongolian lunar new year) or " Tsagaan sar" in mongolian. It continues for three days. It is similar to Chinese New Year. We both celebrate this for welcoming the spring. But we use different lunar calendars. So some year we celebrate it in different days from China. It depends on lunar calendar. In these days we visit to every each of our relatives to know each other. It prevents us from incest. We visit to our oldest ones and greet them. In return they invite us to eat. There are so many delicious meals. Most famous is the buuz. And there are so many salads and mutton. The fun thing is you must eat at least one of the buuzs they give you. You CANNOT say " I won't eat". And be sure you will gain 5kg. 😂😂😂 Sometimes our visits cannot accomplished in three days. And there are so many families are left. And yeah it's so tiresome. It's so tiring to visit and eat, visit and eat, visit and eat, visit and........................eat. BUT!!!! This year is different. Why? Because of that damn coronavirus!!!! Our government forbid us to visit to families and cancelled Lunar New Year. 😭😭😭 So we just celebrated it in our own families. So sad...... And yeah HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR!!!!
