Around 1921, a photographer stood at the north corner of Bagley Street and Grand River Avenue, and captured this view of the Hotel Statler. Note the parking sign in the foreground. Motorists exceeding the one hour parking limit were charged one dollar on their first offense, three on their second, and five each time beyond.

Was never a big card collector but I was thrilled when I won this autographed card of Al Kaline on some @mlb contest. I remember watching TV broadcasts with my grandma of him and George Kell on channel 4 when I was a kid. He represented the team well and I'm very sad he's no longer with us.
