Mashed Potatoes from Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Zero Time Dilemma
Ingredients: 8 medium-sized Russet Potatoes 1/2 cup (or half a stick) of Butter 6 Cloves of Garlic (or more, the potatoes won’t taste like garlic) About 2/3 cup Milk (use as needed) Salt to taste
1) Wash the potatoes and peel them, place them in a large pot. Fill the pot with enough water to cover them. Peel the skin off the cloves of garlic, then slice off the tips of the ends and place the whole cloves in with the potatoes.
2) Set to medium-high heat, until the water is simmering. Cook the potatoes until they’re completely tender (use a fork to poke them). Drain the water and place the potatoes and garlic in a bowl (ideally a bowl for a large mixer, if you don’t just use a traditional masher). You can lightly chop/mashed the potatoes with the spoon you used to scoop them out of the pot.
3) Add the butter and mix a bit, allowing the heat of the potatoes to melt it, then add milk a bit at a time and mix until the potatoes until you’re satisfied.
Serve warm!

Octopus Sausage/Hotdogs from Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, Nagi no Asukara, Kampfer, Sailor Moon R, Touch My Katamari, Tonari no Seki-kun: The Master of Killing Time, & Penguindrum
Ingredients: 1 Hot Dog or Small Sausage Cooking Oil (Preferably in a spray bottle)
1) If you're using a normal hotdog, slice it in half to make two octopi.
2) Take one of the halves and carefully find the center of the hot dog, longways. Slice it from there to the bottom, so the bottom of the hot dog will be sliced in half. Turn the hot dog 90 degrees and slice it the same way, now it'll half 4 legs.
3) Carefully take each leg and slice them in half to make 8 legs (Don't worry, it's not going to be perfect).
4) Get a pan and spray a light layer of oil on it, put the pan on a low-medium heat. Once the pan has heated up, lay the hot dogs down on their sides. Once they start to brown, turn them (wooden tongs or chop sticks would be recommended if you're using a non-stick pan).
5) As each side cooks, the "legs" will start to slightly curl. Once you're satisfied, pick up the hot dogs and place them on their legs in the pan to finish it off and set on a plate.
6) (Optional) Use a toothpick to poke some holes and place poppy seeds, cheese or whatever you want to give your octopus a face!

Beef Stroganoff  from The Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok, Sweet Fuse: At Your Side
Ingredients: About 1/2 an 8oz container of Sour Cream About 1/2 to 3/4 of a Bell Pepper London Broil beef (the size is your choice) A Packet or Can of Beef Gravy (optional) Water
1) Get a large pan and pour enough water to fill the pan about an inch. Set the pan on a medium-high heat. While it warms up, slice the beef into thin strips and place them into the water till you're happy with the amount. Add more water till it covers the meat.
2) If your water begins to boil, turn it down to a low-medium heat, so that the water lightly simmering. Slice your bell pepper thinly and add it to your meat and water.
3) Add and mix in the gravy if you plan to use it, then add and mix the sour cream into the water until reaches a nice creamy tan color. If you don't plan to use the gravy, allow the meat to simmer in the water until the water starts to gain a bit of color, then follow the same process (The coloring will not be as rich, but it will be still be plenty tasty).
4) Cover the pan with a lid and allow to food to cook for an hour or so, depending on how tender you like your meat. While the stroganoff simmers, prepare some rice or pasta noodles (such as Rigatoni or Penne). Once you are satisfied, dish out your rice/noodles and pour the stroganoff on top.

Potato Salad from Kimagure Orange Road, & Gourmet Girl Graffiti Recipe Source
Ingredients: 2 Russet Potatoes ½ tsp Salt 1 Large Hard-boiled Egg 2½ inches of a Carrot ¼ cup Corns (optional) 2 inch English Cucumbers 2 slices Black Forest Ham ½ cup Kewpie Mayonnaise Salt & Pepper (to taste)
Peel the potatoes and slice them into 1½ in. pieces. Place them into a pot and pour cold water into the pot until the potatoes are thoroughly covered. Bring the water to a boil on high heat, then put it on medium and allow the potatoes to cook. Test the potatoes with a toothpick or fork, when it can go into the potato easily, they’re ready for the next step.
Drain the water from the pot, leaving the potatoes. Return the pot to the stove and on a medium-high heat, stir the potatoes (prevent them for burning) until the pot is dry to remove any remaining moisture/water (this should take less than a minute to do). Add the salt and mash the potatoes to the consistency of your liking. Place in a bowl to cool.
If you don’t have a hard-boiled egg prepared, make one while the potatoes are cooling. Once you have it ready and have the shell removed, mash the egg and set it aside.
Get your carrot and slice it in half longways (if you prefer the pieces smaller, then slice them in into quarters). Thinly slice them and place them in a microwave-safe container. Pour water into container till they’re covered and place the lid onto the container. Microwave for a few minutes and test them like you did with the potatoes, with a toothpick or fork, until they’re done. Drain the water from the container and allow them to cool.
Get your cucumber and peel it longways, leaving some of its skin to create a stripe pattern. Slice thinly.
Get your ham, slice it into strips, then slice the strips into small pieces.
Once everything is prepared and cooled, pour carrots, cucumbers, ham and corn into the bowl with the potatoes. Add any salt and/or pepper and mix well. Add the mayonnaise and mix again. Lastly, add the mashed egg, but don’t mix it too much. Once you’re satisfied, put the potato salad in the refrigerator until it’s time to eat!

Spanish Omelet from Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns
Ingredients: About 5 Potatoes (Medium-sized) 6 to 7 Large Eggs About 1/4 of a Bell Pepper About 1/4 of a White Onion (I used 2 Green Onions) Salt (to taste) Black Pepper (to taste) Cooking Oil (This feeds about 4 people, you can reduce the amounts greatly for a personal size)
1) Peel your potatoes, rinse, then chop and dice them into small thin pieces. Chop the bell pepper and onion into small, thin pieces as well.
2) Place everything in a mid-sized casserole dish and mix them together by hand, once you're satisfied, place the potato mixture into the microwave with the casserole’s glass lid. Microwave for about 10 minutes.
3) While the potato mixture cooks, crack your eggs into a large mixing bowl (add a splash of milk if you'd like), add your salt and black pepper, and whisk the eggs. Once the potatoes have soften, carefully take the dish out of the microwave with oven mitts.
4) Remove the lid and allow the potatoes to cool for a few minutes, when it’s not steaming from the top too much. Carefully scoop the potatoes into the eggs' mixing bowl and gently mix the eggs with the potatoes with each scoop, making sure the potatoes are covered with eggs.
5) Once all the potatoes have been mixed into the eggs, prepare your frying pan with some cooking oil, enough to almost cover the bottom and set for a medium heat (make sure you have a plate that is big enough to cover the pan, I had to use the glass plate from the microwave).
6) Pour the entire mixture into the pan (or as much as you can) and cook for 7 minutes. Check omelette with a spatula when you can smell the food cooking, to make sure it is cooking correctly and not burning. The top will still be a little wet, but wait for bottom to have firmed up and be slightly browned. When you feel ready, get your plate and place it over the pan upside-down, then carefully flip the pan and plate over to have the omelette in the plate. Slide the omelette carefully back into the pan, so that the top of omelette can finish cooking.
7) Cook for a few minutes, once satisfied, use the plate again and flip the omelette onto it for a final time. Allow it to cool for a few minutes or carefully dig in and enjoy!
