Adam Stanheight is many things. A wet drowned rat of a man, a scrungly pathetic hissing cat, a big dopey wet eyed mouse with a nicotine addiction… but most of all he’s not the easiest man to be in a relationship with, and he knows it. But by gosh, when he loves you does he love with you with everything he has. 

Adam spends most of his time watching the horrors of humanity with looming consternation through his lens, so he’s always just… on the verge. He’s constantly waiting for the moment the penny drops, and he finds his own reality shattering into splinters and cutting him open till he’s left to bleed through the tiles and fade into screaming oblivion. Thus, he’s not exactly the most optimistic person, or the most touchy feely. He’s just prickling his back up and making sure the walls don’t crumble down into nothing when you inevitably end up leaving him to his shithole life, just like everyone else has done.

He’s definitely the sort of guy to become all hot and bothered under the collar when he sees you wearing his clothes. When he sees you levering yourself up out of his double bed in the morning, having got cold in the night and shoved on one of his slightly stained plaid shirts over your pyjama top, there’s no way he can let you get away from him. Before you’ve even managed to take a step, Adam’s looped his arm around your waist and tugged you back down to him; he’s not satisfied with just cuddling your back, though. He’ll only stop whining once you’ve straddled his waist with your thighs and you’ve collapsed down to lie on his chest like a front back pack.
