If season 2 doesn’t start with a scene with Carson wearing pants, getting on a train all calm and shit with a pan down to her bare left hand (no wedding ring), heading to Rockford/Chicago for the second baseball season… I don’t want it.

Except I definitely still want it, regardless. I just think it would be a cool parallel to the first scene of the first season when Carson is running to catch the train all frazzled and in a dress.

At first I thought I wanted Carson to go with Greta to NYC because of course! But again, Carson only started listening to herself when Greta taught her how. We all know she wanted to go. Her first instinct was to say yes, but would it have been for her sake or Greta's? Just to make sure she didn't lose her. I don't doubt that Carson loves Greta, or course she does! And yet, she knows that Greta is a whirlpool that will suck her in if she can't hold her ground. If she wants something real and not a fling for them, she needs to stand on her own two feet and learn to speak her mind. She knows they both want that. But they deserve to give it a real shot. I can't wait to see them try next season
