How did you normally come up with titles for Camp Camp episodes? Was it the title that came first and then the plot or was it the plot first and then the title came afterwards? 

Great question! For my husband and I coming up with titles for our scripts (cc or others) goes totally different every time we write, sometimes coming up with a clever idea post script, sometimes before. More often than not though- we come up with a temporary gag title that makes us laugh and then decide to keep it! (For example "something fishy")

In general, a good title for us is something that gives the audience an alluring hint while makes more sense when they watch it. If its a word play that's even better.

Something we gave a meh temp title that just sticks ("culture day" is one example)

Just of out of curiosity what was the theme of each season from “Camp Camp” like… season 1 to season 5, I mean and in your opinion what was your best and least favorite of each one?

I hadn't worked on camp camp s1 and s2, when it came to s3 the was a very general theme/vibe of growing up, characters developing and slightly changing or understanding each other better.

S4 was more about mixing stuff up, strange team ups, unique situations, etc.

S5 was a new year, with the theme of "same but different" (it was a tongue-in-cheek response to the RT producers who didn't really have a clear idea of what they wanted, and kept saying vaguely: 'make it the same but also different' 😄)

In both cases wasn't a strict theme to follow, more like a general guideline to help us come up with plot-lines and create something coherent.

Question If Camp Camp (Whoever takes the show I mean) hired you as a writer again you got to write like a few episodes max, what would you write about?

Oooh i hope that happens!

If that ever happens, the episodes i'll be writing will depend on the general season direction. Usually we would meet early on and discuss the theme of the season and pitch episodes according to that.

But, if i could just pitch whatever, i might want to write one where max has to get by on his own. Maybe he's lost somewhere? Maybe he locked himself accidentally in some room? Something like that. Could be interesting to see how he is when he has no one around to bump against.

If you are referring to RoosterTeeth's Camp Camp, I am saddened to inform am but a humble writer for hire, i do not know the in and outs of what higher ups are largely planning other than shopping around nor do i have the power to make those decisions 🙏🏻

By any chance, do you if Miles or Jordan or any higher up is looking to shop Camp Camp around? I saw an article saying RWBY and Gen:Lock are getting that treatment, but not this show. Even if negotiations haven't happened yet, I'm sure many of us would love if they were at least considering attempting this, just to hold on to hope that the show can possibly return one day.

as far as i know rooster teeth is trying to shop around all animated originals
