Post a picture that symbolizes what you have learned throughout this unit about justice or reputation
Tumblr media
Without justice life would be hard and unfair. Our society would be very unfair and in miserable conditions. There would be a lot of devastation in the country and people won’t be happy. This will lead them to leave the country and settle somewhere else where there is justice. This picture shows that with justice World will be beautiful and happy.

What is your overall point of view of justice or reputation? Has it changed from before we started the unit? If so, how? Write two paragraphs.
My point of view on Justice is that it is very important to have peace in society. Without Justice Life would be miserable just like in some countries nowadays. Justice should always be provided to one who deserve it. We must not be unfair when it comes to justice. There is a saying "PLAY FAIR", why don't you try it?
What is Reputation? It is how people see you and treat you according to your reputation. If you are honest and fair with others you will have a good reputation but if you are mean and unfair people would not like you and hurt your reputation. You must earn a good reputation so people can trust you and help you when you are in trouble. Believe it or not, you gonna love it.
My ideas on justice and reputation are still the same, I still think it is very important and useful thing.

I agree with hasan-salah10-a that everybody should have equal rights no matter who you are. We should help and cooperate with each other for a better society. We should not fight over religions and race but we must unite and work together and open doors to prosperity and better living. Lets Do It TOGETHER !!!
Tumblr media
this is my view about justice all people should have equal rights it doesn’t matter where you are from what color you are or what religion you are worshiping what matters is all people are free and are equal in everything.
there is a say that i like by Omar Al Khatab radyal Allah aanh he said” when did you make the people slaves when they were born free”..

How has your opinion of social media changed from doing this project?
My opinion on Social Media did not change. I still think that it is very valuable and advantageous resource that we have these days.
Some people think that it has negative impact on them and others, they think that people waste a lot of their time using social media. But there are a lot more positive things then negative. Such as it is a lot faster, it is more comfortable, and it is safer. It would not take you months like letters, you don’t have to worry that anyone can steal it, and you don’t have to work, work and, work. You can learn a lot about the outer world, you can encounter new people and make friends, you can also ask questions and enjoy your time.

Two Different Mediums
The Crucible can be represented into two different mediums. In the book it is more focused on dialogues and in the movie it is more focused on actions of the characters. The alteration in representation does not affect the theme, they still represent the same theme but in a different way. I read a book called “catching Fire” which is still not aired but the trailer clearly spectacles actions throughout the movie but the book is more focused on dialogues and emotions.

Music in a scene
Music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asV0447SywY
Scene: When Abagail pretends and traps Mary Warren. Pg: 113,114
Why This Music? I choose this music because it builds up slowly and have a very good climax. It is fast and loud as well as the Scene in the book. They Match up perfectly with each other. This is also a good reason i choose this music with this scene.

I agree with what Royal Potatoes (What kind of name is this?) is saying, Justice is not served until the Judge listen to both sides and then judge people. Our teacher told us a story that once a crowd of people came to a king and said King “This guy has banged the other persons' eye, Give him a hard punishment for this. The King said" I won’t decide what to do unless I hear why he did it, he should have had banged both of his eyes maybe (maybe he would have done something really bad). This example shows that listening to the other side is very important and if you do not, it is Unjust or Unfair as Royal Potatoes said.
Tumblr media
In the book the judge is fast to rule. He listens to only one side and is quick to rule without listening to the other side. In the normal Lady Liberty picture both eyes would be covered implying that the lady will listen to both sides before ruling. in this version of lady liberty one eye is uncovered. This implies that she listens to one side a then rules! Not Just! This does not represent my view of justice because I believe that justice is only served when both sides are listen to. Only then is justice served!

Justice is presented in this book "The Crucible" because the judge is trying to find who is the real criminal but could not find because of Abigails drama. Justice is being searched in this courtroom.

I totally agree with royalpotatoes10a. Social media has really helped us with communication which is far more easy, fast and comfortable. And of course its free so people are far more attractive and avoid using other method of communication. Social media is better in all ways than old methods .
Social media helps everyone in many different ways. Just to mention a few:
1. Social media lets us hear and see people that we would otherwise not see or hear from for years.
2. Social media is extremely quick. You can send a message to someone and receive a reply within 10 seconds.
3. Probably
the main reason social media has caught on and helped billions of people is that it is free. In my opinion no one would use social media today if it weren’t free. And if no one were to use it, it wouldn’t have helped out so much.

Song representing Justice
Black Man by Stevie Wonder
First man to die  For the flag we now hold  high (Crispus Attucks)  Was a black man
The ground where we stand  With the flag held in our hand Was first the red man's
Guide of a ship  On the first Columbus trip  (Pedro Alonso Niño)  Was a brown man
The railroads for trains  Came on tracking that was laid  By the yellow man
We pledge allegiance  All our lives  To the magic colors  Red, blue and white  But we all must be given  The liberty that we defend  For with justice not for all men  History will repeat again  It's time we learned  This World Was Made For All Men
Heart surgery  Was first done successfully  By a black man (Dr Daniel Hale Williams)
Friendly man who died  But helped the pilgrims to  survive (Squanto)  Was a red man
Farm workers rights  Were lifted to new heights (Cesar E. Chavez)  By a brown man
Incandescent light  Was invented to give sight (Thomas Edison)  By the white man
We pledge allegiance  All our lives  To the magic colors Red, blue and white  But we all must be given  The liberty that we defend  For with justice not for all men  History will repeat again  It's time we learned  This World Was Made For All Men
Hear me out...
Now I know the birthday of a nation  Is a time when a country celebrates  But as your hand touches your heart  Remember we all played a part in America  To help that banner wave
First clock to be made  In America was created  By a black man (Benjamin Banneker)
Scout who used no chart  Helped lead Lewis and Clark  Was a red man (Sacagawea)
Use of martial arts  In our country got its start  By a yellow man
And the leader with a pen  Signed his name to free all men  Was a white man (Abraham Lincoln)
We pledge allegiance  All our lives  To the magic colors  Red, blue and white  But we all must be given  The liberty that we defend  For with justice not for all men  History will repeat again  It's time we learned  This World Was Made For All Men
This world was made for all men  This world was made for all men  This world was made for all men  God saved His world for all men  All people  All babies  All children  All colors  All races  This world's for you  and me  This world  My world  Your world  Everybody's world
This world  Their world  Our world  This world was made for all men
Hear me out...
Who was the first man to set  foot on the North Pole?  Mattew Henson - a black man
Who was the first American  to show the Pilgrims at  Plymouth the secrets  of survival in the new world?  Squanto - a red man
Who was the soldier of  Company G who won high  honors for his courage  and heroism in World War 1?  Sing Lee - a yellow man
Who was the leader of united  farm workers and helped farm workers  maintain dignity and respect?  Cesar E. Chavez - a brown man
Who was the founder of blood  plasma and the director of  the Red Cross blood bank?  Dr. Charles Drew - a black man
Who was the first American  heroine who aided the Lewis  and Clark expedition?  Sacagawea is a red woman (scout who used no chart)
Who was the famous educator  and semanticist who made outstanding  contributions to education in America?  Hayakawa - a yellow man
Who invented the world's  first stop light and the  gas mask? - a black man
Who was the American  surgeon who was one of the  founders of neurosurgery?  Harvey William Cushing - a white man
Who was the man who helped  design the nation's capitol,  made the first clock to give time in  America and wrote the first almanac?  Benjamin Banneker - a black man
Who was the legendary hero  who helped establish the  League of Iroquois?  Hiawatha - a red man
Who was the leader of the  first Macrobiotic Center  in America? - a yellow man
Who was the founder of the  city of Chicago in 1772?  Jean Baptiste - a black man
Who was one of the  organizers of the American  Indian Movement?  Denis Banks - a red man
Who was the Jewish financier  who raised founds to sponsor  Cristopher Columbus' voyage to America?  Lewis D. Santangol - a white man
Who was the woman who led  countless slaves to freedom  on the underground rairoad?  Harriel Tubman - a black woman
I chose this song because it shows that everbody is equal, so if it comes to justice courts or people should be fair and unbiased. Everybody should get equal rights.
It also shows that blacks have done many goods things for the community so they should not be discriminating people of different colors.

Quote
Justice cannot be for one side alone, but must be for both.
Eleanor Roosevelt
I chose this quote because Justice should be for both sides. Nowadays, Justice holds and is only for 1 side, as the drug dealer gets safe from the police man and the victim get’s in danger for calling the cops and trying to put the criminal behind bars.
(via tribalshaman10a)
I agree with tribalshamon that justice should be for everyone not only for the rich people out there. We should be just to one who deserve it not the one who can buy it.

In what ways do you think social networking helps you better connect with the world around you? Give at least three specific examples.
I think social networking has helped me a lot connecting with my friends and family and the world. It is a lot easier than letters or Phone calls.
I can easily and securely talk to anyone, anywhere.
I can chat with my teachers for what I missed because of being absent.
I can ask questions from community.

I picked this article because it signifies how police provided justice to the humanity. If a man who can shoot 13 people including a 3 year old child than who knows what else is he capable of doing, but as long as police is out there justice is out there. Police arrested those 4 coldblooded beasts who shot those innocent people. This will have a very decent impact on Police’s reputation.

"Justice cannot be for one side alone, but must be for both." - Eleanor Roosevelt
I chose this quote because it states that no matter how rich a person is but when it comes to justice the poor person should get the exact same treatment as a rich person. This quote also shows that if it’s a matter of justice we should be unbiased/fair.

Social Media
Social media has flipped the way of communicating. No Letters, No Mailboxes, No Postmen, No Waiting, Fast and comfortable. In old times letters were a great way to communicate but now a day’s letters are out of the picture. People don’t even thinks of sending a letter they go straight to their computers and start typing, Its better in all ways.
Social media is safer, quicker, and more private. No one can open it, read it or change it, which might happen if you are sending a letter. Social media is spreading all over the world very rapidly, people are changing the way they use to communicate.
