Well this was a fun time. First book is a series of stories from a set of detective siblings, sometimes acting together and others like this one, where it is Liz or Tom Austen. The author is Canadian, and was actually my mum's English teacher in grade school, and enjoys writing about real Canadian landmarks, situations, and the like. This story was shorter than the Nancy Drew I read recently, but didn't have any repetitive verbiage that distracted me, and ended up feeling a bit more grown up and to the point. I also appreciated the humor of the characters, and some real personality coming through. Looking forward to reading more of my Eric Wilson mysteries! . X . X . X .
