we lost our way when we started having discourse justifying shipping aroace characters with "ace people can still have sex/aros can still date", instead of using it as evidence to hc characters who aren't canonically aspec and who date and have sex, as aro/ace.

scraping the bottom of the barrel for characters who don't express interest in dating? no, i'm coming for your ladies' men and your sluts, your suave and sexy sweet talkers, your femme fatales and your serial monogamists.

aroaces you must liberate yourselves, break free of the shackles of that one canon aroace, you don't need them. sick of people shipping your fave canon aroace? their fave is aroace now. want more sex/romance favourable aroace rep? this works for that too! there are literally no downsides

I cannot possibly express how amazing it feels to get repeat commenters on a fanfic. When I was writing my first long form fanfic last spring I could have dedicated it to my first reader, that's how inspired I felt that they commented so consistently.

I remember having the slightly hysterical thought that *I* should check to see if *they* had a Kofi so that I could donate to it since they were the reason my fanfic got finished so quickly.

New idea: instead of writing the fic, you come over to my house and I tell you the entire plot while I pace my tiny kitchen. There’s a cup of tea, warm in your hands. The words don’t stop and the affection never leaves your expression.

"They're bi and no one wants them" boring, insufferable,why make them bi to begin with and then say no one wants them. Seems like you're playing it safe not to piss off the biphobes.

"They're aroace and no one wants them" hilarious,it's less annoying, they don't want anyone to begin with. And it's a great way to confirm them being aroace by having them mention that they're really not interested every time someone goes like "Ew,you have a crush on me or something?". Or when someone assumes they're in a relationship with/has a crush on their friends or enemies.

Is it repetitive if I say I'm tired again?

We finished To Kill A Mockingbird and it is my new favourite book (Thank god I have my own copy as well as my school given one)

It's like Charlie, the last book I read is always my favourite, but then I read another.

Charlie is from The Perks of Being A Wallflower. I think the first book he mentions, actually, is To Kill A Mockingbird. I'll check in a minute.

And I still haven't finished the Virgen Suicides.

Only one more day until Easter break though (!) Every other school is already off. Most get two weeks, we only get a week and a half. Plus they all get half or non-uniform days. Yeah, my school is shit.

I just want to finally be off (I say this like I don't have exams again in May)
