I don't have anything done for nabari anniversary unfortunately but in case you didn't know. Hi. Nabari no Ou is my favorite manga ever and Yuhki Kamatani is my favorite mangaka. Go read it if you want to see ninjas in the modern world (well 2004 in the year it released). Go read it if you want to see a nija with a gun. Go read it if you want a series that deals with death and grief in such a realistic, painful and yet reassuring way. The series tells you "you WILL greif and you are going to like it". Go read it if you want a series that breaks you and helps you stand up and start walking again. Go read it if you like owls and cats. Go read it ESPECIALLY if you've already read anything by kamatani and you want to see where they started. Just go read it please!!!!

Happy 20th anniversary to Nabari no Ou, my favourite manga of all time! I haven't drawn in years, I don't have a scanner, it's just a sketch BUT I LOVE NABARI SO MUCH!!!

I only started to follow you recently but it’s always really fun to see your blog because regardless of what you’re posting I’m like hey that’s the person who also is likes NNO
The series was really important to me when I was growing up but it’s always been super rare that I find other people who know/are into the series or even Kamatani’s other works. Though I haven’t read much of them I admit (though I’d like to).
Anyways I guess I just wanted to say thanks for sparking joy and brightening my day even if you aren’t doing it on purpose.
so true i am the(a) person who also likes nno!! it might maybe even be the first and foremost thing that i like. mayhaps. dont let the many recent thistles confuse you. “the person who also likes nno” also sounds like an on brand blog title for me tbh I’ll be making note of that thanking you <3
many of us in that boat, unfortunately a very common experience but it somehow serves to make the connections you make when you do find someone all the more meaningful imo! especially because to those of us who kind of stuck around and with it, it generally is because nno has been and is important to us!
i really hope you find the time to read their other works! im currently really enjoying reading shounen note as the official english volumes are being released, genuinely such a good time.
thank you for being wonderfully sweet, pleaese im

the whole “i used to be a teen who hated authority only to grow up to become the authority that hates teens” is a bad bad thing that practically every other generation has fallen into and we all need to make an extremely conscious effort not to repeat the fucking pattern
