What’s with the fascination with boxes? Boxes in towers of azkaban and boxes of death. Earth. The earth, stretched square and steady, shifting yet quite solid, is the root for all our actions and bears witnesses to all births. A place of the mountain, of grottos and deserts, where something new can grow. It is also a place of decay, that long-lasting drone of stagnation and death. Our earth is warm giving fire to the cold, but it also breathes in the cold shades of melancholic temper. Cold but never bitter, it permits the chance for life. Underneath its cold strata Spring seeps between its depths. Spring, that fresh promise of growth. What’s with the fascination with boxes? Fertility itself was formed in the warm, the warmth within the edgeless cavity, why do we lose that warmness? what’s with the fascination with boxes? we were born without them, but learned to live in the confines of them, and eventually we leave in these same cold objects. The stones and the earth are not so permanent after all.
