Recently, I've been really inspired by Dubstep.  I'm loving what the DJ's out there are doing and am letting the influence guide my music.  Tracks and mix made in Live.

I've been producing since my teens, but a while ago I got interested in DJ'ing. A fellow DJ/Producer Cory Enemy I met at a studio in ATL, originally, introduced me to Ableton Live.  When I sat down with another DJ/Producer David Guetta and he showed me the ins and outs, I decided to give it a swing.  And I can honestly see what the fuss is about. Especially with the Akai APC controller, it takes producing and live performance to another level.  I love how simple it is to use, definitely smoother than Logic and ProTools.

The workflow, the production to performance integration, is what I love and stands out to me.  I'm able to be "Live", like an MPC that controls Ableton so you can go from performing to creating seamlessly. Incorporating plug-ins is mostly drag and drop; so simple there are few quick keys- with the APC they're just not needed. This process is much quicker and really allows me to focus on creating not all the technological stuff.

Pretty much, this is made for producers and DJ's where others I've used in the past are for the engineers... who produce. There are still elements of Logic and Protools that are a necessity to me; Live is now in the forefront.
