Behind every indecisive fucker tired after like 9 consecutive hours of lecture is a item picker that chose from their To Do List something to work on for stream. We're rendering Rex's model a bit today.
What's the overview story in live a hero? The playstore description doesn't really do it justice when I can't understand anything it says
You're not really missing much with the appstore description anyways. It's just a vague "You know how you didn't do that one thing? Well, what if you did? 😳 Now go help some heroes," which actually is the plot, but it's not gonna do much to interest players. LWs once again doing LAH dirty.
Some key points that may or may not be necessary, just skip to the summary if you want:
-Parallel Worlds: Alternate realities where different dreams came to fruition or people took different paths.
-Powers: Dreams can manifest into power, which is why there's an emphasis on realities where different dreams came true (ex: one guy wants to be a famous baseball player, so his power is baseball themed) ...At least I think that's how it works.
-Heroes and Villains: People who can transform and fight by borrowing power from themselves in alternate realities.
-View Power: Heroes (or villains) have to livestream their battles because VP is what allows them to transform and fight by creating a stronger connection to the parallel worlds they're deriving their power from. The more viewers they have watching, the stronger they are.
-Observers and Operators: Observers are people with a particularly high ability of perception, which is important when it comes to VP. Observers usually fulfill the job of Operators and are in charge of maintaining the heroes' transformations by directing VP to them.
Summary: LAH takes place in a futuristic world where humanity and aliens coexist (sorta, there's a racism thing later on) and parallel worlds, heroes, villains, and kaibutsu exist. You play as an amnesiac observer who lost their memories after they had all of their parallel selves shoved into their current being by an alien known as the Broker and now work as an operator who assists heroes during their battles while discovering how unbelievably broken you've become thanks to the Broker. Most of the conflict is about dealing with villains and kaibutsu, but it focuses more on the Broker, alternate versions of characters coming to fuck shit up, terrorism, and government issues later on.
....I think I got all of that right. Anyways, the story has been translated here if you're just interested in reading that rather than actually playing it.
I still play LD and AFCL, but I haven't touched Extracurricular Activities in like a year (just kinda zonked out of it tbh).
Rambles under the cut.
-(Horror/NSFW) Burrows has been fun, but some players may find it unplayable due to the triggering themes. It's about an opossum named Grey who gets thrown into some time travel shit by a chubby playboy bunny, that's all I'll say. I like the characters and the story so far and I love the art and CGs that range from pretty, horny, and scary. One of the love interests is a transmale, which I think is cool to see in a nsfw game. Also, the MC has an ex girlfriend who's not a huge homophobic bitch!! MLM games do this shit so much, I gotta celebrate when they don't.
-(NSFW) Lust Odyssey has been fun too. You play an amnesiac in the future who's trying to remember who they are while whoring around and being the captain of a spaceship. The game is male focused, but the player creation part seems to be female, trans, and nb friendly, which is an immediate pog imo. The MC's whole deal is interesting to me and I just think the dialogue is pretty funny. Like, the ship's AI is sentient and he's just always talking shit and being a smartass in your head, it's dumb lol. He's my fave.
-(SFW rn) Limits seems cool so far. There isn't much there rn since the creator is busy with school, but I like it so far.
-(NSFW) I like the characters in Hachienden, more than the story since there's just no a lot going on. You play as some guy who gets sucked into a book and it's your job to fill in for the protagonist after you cause him to get hurt. The English translation doesn't seem to be the greatest, but you can tell what's going on. I bought the full JP version so whatever lol. I mostly like Chuemon (tsundere soldier), Hayate (he's a love interest's son who I think is sweet), and Fujiyasu (sadistic brothel owner with dead lover trauma). Also, there's just a part where the MC does something unintentionally UNHINGED to Fujiyasu and I'll always laugh at it.
-(NSFW) I played Minotaur Hotel and I'll be honest with y'all, I like Khenbish and Nikos more than Asterion. That's right, I said it.
-(NSFW) I played Shelter a while ago, but I didn't like the MC that much or the dog thing that much. Not to say the game is bad, it's not. I just don't feel like playing it unless they add two specific characters.
-(NSFW) I played Uncommon Breed and I just regret spending money on it lol. It's a total mess. The battle and dungeon system is pointless, it's marketed as a dating sim but the part that makes it a dating sim is still incomplete after years and doesn't work, your choices don't matter, the writing acts like you experienced certain things from other paths that you didn't as if there's no route system in place and you're just some omnipotent and omnipresent being who sees all, and the game literally skips and entire part if the story if you don't insert a character's name you can only find on Patreon. No, this doesn't seem to be intentional because the character in question isn't even involved in the section that's missing iirc. It just seems to be an odd mistake the creator never bothered fixing.
