this guy is complicated hoo boy. gonna ultra summarize his backstory

parents raised him to be the “savior” of the family, to bring the family out of poverty with success in the workplace. has super high expectations placed on him because of that.

but because of circumstances surrounding his older sister’s suicide, tomomi decided to not help his family

his parents divorced when he was 10, his mom lost hope in her family, and went to live with her parents. tomomi hates his mom for abandoning them.

literally rebuilt his personality from scratch after his sister’s death(and one more thing that i shall get into later) so he could become stronger and less easy to manipulate by the adults around them

huge superiority complex, overexaggerates it in the name of humor so people won’t believe he actually thinks he’s better than everyone else(oh but he does)

loves rats! bought a pet rat and named him yokan

also loves horror manga, he tries making some too, but imagine those so bad it’s funny 2 sentence horror reddit posts when you think of tomomi’s comics.

favorite color is red, when he joined the revolution he tried dying his hair red. it came out pink.

accidentally the cause of the revolution, which i should explain quickly here. so in japan in a lot of schools, having a hair color other than black is against dress code, and having frizzy non straight hair is too. you can either straighten and dye your hair, or you can get a doctor’s note giving you permission to have your natural hair. ema doesn’t want to change up their style, and ema is terrified of doctors, so they just continued going to school ignoring the rules. she kept getting in trouble, and their homeroom class decided to dye their hair funky colors to prove that they wouldn’t get distracted by “weird hair”. a lot of rich people went to the school, and the school didn’t wanna be sued, so they reluctantly allowed the students to dye their hair as long as it isn’t distracting.

is hailed the hero of individuality, when in reality she just hates doctors.

really sad backstory, she was originally raised to be the family savior, but her parents saw how naturally untalented she was at school work, how little friends she had, and decided that kaoru was a lost cause.

when tomomi was born, the parents changed up their parenting style for kaoru. they had her assist in them making tomomi “perfect” and that her main goal was to insure that tomomi succeeds in life.

despite all that, she still loved her baby brother with her whole heart.

a couple years after her mom left, and tomomi was almost in highschool, kaoru and her dad knew that they didn’t have enough money for him to get into a decent collage. so kaoru and her dad made a plan to collect insurance money from kaoru’s suicide.

kaoru is just, really sad. she feels like a failure of a child. felt as if her “““sacrifice””” was a way to “““atone”““ for being a “““useless”““ person

the amano parents are terrible, worst parents ever award.

how did it host the souls? the souls she was hosting were the remnants of her past lives

after they caused some shenanigans in the living world, they got forcefully dragged into hell

once yuie got to hell, they were made the god/s of reincarnation

used to have multiple different forms, but they all semi-fused into a single consciousness

but two of the five souls(annie and someone else...) do NOT like ko at all and freak out when they see her

rezzie doesn’t have a stable physical form, so for the last few centuries he’s been trying to use a human’s body to achieve its goal to destroy tholath, but each human he tries to use mysteriously dies hmmmm...

rezzie is the one who saved oyakoyi from her suffering in the living world, and gave them the powers she uses to this day.

rezzie doesn’t want oyakoyi to know of its plan to hurt tholath(cuz that plan involves destroying earth) and he knows that oyakoyi loves earth

(au where autism became an actual diagnosis before the mid 80s so then i wouldn’t have to shift around the timeline and ages of the guys in this category) lenny got diagnosed with autism when he was 3

his older brothers were abusive to him when he was growing up(because lenny acted “weird” and ect.) school? he had no friends, he has no idea on how to socialize, he was ignored at school and by his parents.

lenny one day was like “fuck this” and ran away from home.

lenny, despite having no idea on how to interact with people, became really good at lying and manipulating people to get what he wanted while living as a homeless runaway, so now he only knows how to talk to people if it’s in a lying sense.

lenny was obsessed with this book series about a group of kids adventuring, and the final book in the series came out when he was homeless, and when he finally got the chance to read it, it was terrible. so lenny made fanfiction of what he thought a better ending would be.

he acts all cute and soft when you first meet him, but once you get to know him, you see he’s just super sleepy, blunt, and angry at all the shitty stuff that happened to him in the past. but no matter what he’s really awkward. and affection starved.

carmen seems a little quiet and chill at first, but gets progressively more chaotic the longer you know her. 

she is a huge jokester, can sometimes go too far with her jokes and hurt people though. she’s trying to work on noticing when she’s gone too far.

Thought I would make some autistic character writing prompts (mostly because I want to write more stuff for my autistic headcanons) so here we go. Feel free to reblog/use/make your own lists. There’s 50 prompts here but there could probably be another 50, if not more.

Autistic character infodumps about their special interest

A character figures out/discovers they’re autistic

Two autistic characters have conflicting sensory/accommodation needs

Friendship between two autistic characters

Friendship between autistic character and someone with another neurodivergence (e.g. ADHD, dyslexia etc)

Autistic character helps another autistic/neurodivergent character with something

Autistic character has a meltdown

Autistic character has a shutdown

Autistic character goes through burnout

Nonverbal autistic character communicates through non-spoken means (e.g. AAC, writing, sign language) and is understood and included with other person/people

Autistic character ‘comes out’ as autistic to other people in their life

Autistic character doesn’t ‘get’ something (be it sarcasm, a joke, why something is rude, a social rule)

Autistic character gets something better than/before other characters

Autistic characters communicate with each other/with other people in a way that’s natural to them (e.g. monotone voice/flat affect, not talking much or talking too much, infodumping about their interests to each other, being bluntly honest) and it’s shown as natural and good

Autistic character advocating for autistic people (IRL or online, could be to one person  or a hundred)

Autistic character masking their autistic traits (or trying to)

Autistic character stimming

Autistic character lets go of something that is toxic/unhealthy for them

Autistic character faces ableism from strangers/acquaintances

Autistic character faces ableism from friends/family
