hi im So new here, could u explain (or direct me towards smth that could explain) the difference between posic and objectum?
POSIC is when you feel that objects are sentient and you feel like they have feelings and needs and wants, and objectum is attraction to objects. Some objectim people are also POSIC, but the overlap is a ven diagram. Not all objectum people are POSIC, and not all POSIC people are objectum

hello hello! er, not a objectum culture is ask but more rather a question. we've been slowly realizing that we maaay be objectum but as always we overthink things. so the question is does naming objects and like, getting attached to them (in a sort of we both exist and we think it's really nice that you do way) count as objectum? we don't necessarily believe in object sentience ourselves so we crossed being posic off of the potential list. also we call lag on minecraft servers our beautiful lag wife
thank you in advance and hope yall have a wonderful week :]
Sounds to me like platonic objectum! If y'all wanna call y'allself objectum, you're more than welcome to, and you're also more than welcome on my blog! In the end, what you call your experiences is completely up to you, but y'all seem to have a platonic relationship with objects from what was described ^^
Hope this helped any

Objectum culture is having to restrain yourself from buying objects just because they are so hot/cute/crush-like... I will ONLY buy if I can take proper care of them and give them at least a baseline amount of everything they need...

Objectum culture is reading Gachiakuta (an ongoing manga where the objects that people care for give them powers, and the protag’s special skill is his intense love, care, and respect for all objects, even ones deemed trash or broken) and crying because you’re so happy to finally read something where love for objects is a plot point. Even if some troupes aren’t my exact cup of tea I love that so many characters are pretty explicitly Objectum in different ways even if that exact term isn’t used. It’s kind of healing ngl
(It’s also wanting to make an in-universe ‘sona of you and your partner for funsies)

objectum culture is feeling like you can't tell people you're objectum because they'll think you're being sexual or weird or joking. objectum culture is CONSTANTLY worrying people will start discourse with you or ask really invasive weird questions because you just are objectum. or god forbid you'll be banned from spaces because people will consider it "problematic" for no good reason.
