     This.. This.. Insolent child! She honestly thinks she can just stem up to ryoma and leave without a scratch? She, who knows nothing of Hoshido or of Ryoma himself speaks as if she knows everything about everyone? What does she know. Nothing. She wanted him to lose his head. And that’s precisely what he was doing. 

     Could anyone really blame him? 

     “Keep laughing, child for you laugh in the face of your murderer! If that is what I must be to restore peace than so be it!” His eyes were fire, and his words: poison “I’m sick of you Nohrian’s preaching peace when all you want is war! You thrive on the lifeblood of innocents like vampires! You would have the whole world dead if it meant you could rule what’s left of it!”

     With his awakened rage Raijinto sparked to life, lightning crackling on his blade. It was obvious she couldn’t best him; no one could best him! He was the high prince of Hoshido and the most skilled samurai in the land. No matter where she would attack from he would be ready.

     He wished to lunge at her then and there, but decided against it. He was angry, yes, and rightfully so. But a mind clouded with hatred wasn’t a mind clear for fighting. 

     “Make your move mage, for it shall be your last,”

◣ ♰ ◥               IN AN INSTANT Nyx’s face turns murderous. She was no child, nor would she ever be. How DARE he even think about calling her such a thing. Her body may be young, but she was a MONSTER through and through. He was the child, and he needed to learn his place, or she would TEACH him what his place may be in her food chain. Her ruby eyes GLANCE towards her book quickly, and she muttered a spell UNDER her breath. A dark hand emerges from the ground, making it quite windy in her area alone. The gravel RISES with the hand, before she speaks again, and it’s THROWN the way of Ryoma.

                        ❝ This CHILD will be your doom, ❞ Her voice is like venom as she practically hisses at the lord. Another powerful spell forms around her, yet she holds it only for a moment. ❝ Now, actual CHILD, look at me again and assume I am young, for the only thing you WILL see is the face of a MONSTER! ❞

                        The spell is finally released, rushing towards him in a QUICK instant. She takes that moment to STEP backwards, knowing that if he ever gets close to her, that WOULD be her death. The dark mage had no desire to die that day, though she wasn’t holding on that anybody would MISS her. If she were to die, she’d rather it be by her OWN hands than that of someone as brutal as him. Though she does guess herself. She was an IDIOT for not taking anybody with her to FIGHT him, but they probably would’ve ignored her anyway.

                        ❝ Peace will only be brought by ERADICATING those who wish to start wars, ❞ Though her mind is RACING, she looks as calm as ever. Her eyes hold malice, and her face shows a certain amount of BOREDOM in it. ❝ The Nohrian king is no different, but his TIME will come later. It’s a pity your siblings FAKE family listened to them more than their REAL family ever did. ❞

Well, the hiatus was supposed to be over yesterday, but I was so tired I couldn’t come back and make a post ( we’re supposed to be moving by the end of the year )

Alright, so as you may have noticed I haven’t been on in a little while and that’s mostly because I’ve just been busy developing another character of mine, and giving her her own world and stuff. It’s not that I’ve forgotten about Nyx, or decided to leave her completely. In fact, there have been times when I wanted to get back on her, but decided I still needed to keep going on the story for the other character.

For this reason, I am putting Nyx on a hiatus. This should give me some time to do some stuff for the OC I have, and anything of the like. Maybe even play some Conquest, because lord knows I haven’t done that.

◣ ♰ ◥               HOW WAS NYX supposed to socialize with the army when they all seemed hellbent on avoiding her. Normally she WOULDN’T mind such a thing, but this time was the ONE time she needed them to actually talk to her like she meant something. If she were to report back to Corrin that her job had been useless, and that she was still very much HATED then she’d only be sent out to do it again.

                        Which is why it was detrimental that she talk to someone NOW. She didn’t wish to be forced to do it AGAIN and again until she made at least one friend. That was too taxing on her. But at this point, she might as well just go and YELL at someone to socialize with her. Actually, that didn’t seem to be that BAD of an idea. In fact, it MIGHT actually work well.

                        ❝ You! ❞ She pointed to some random person that was JUST walking by her. She looked angry, which was a perfect way to make friends with someone. Wasn’t that HOW Corrin did it? ❝ You’re now my friend! Good-bye. ❞

◣ ♰ ◥               IT’S NOT LIKE Nyx wandering around alone in the dead of night was a TRULY strange thing. Though perhaps it was to people who didn’t quite know who she was and WHAT she had been doing around here. There were times when she liked to leave the camp to go and find a LAKE or anything of the like. Sometimes it wasn’t even because it showed her of a time she COULDN’T have, but because it was calming to be alone again. The noise the camp now made was so OBNOXIOUS and the dark mage often found it hard to concentrate.

                        This day was like the rest. She WAITED for the rest of the camp to head to sleep before sneaking off to her usual path. It was through the dense part of the forest, but there WAS a path there at least. It was probably used a while ago when people ACTUALLY lived around here. But since they left, that DIDN’T seem to be the case any more. The wildlife took over, just as it did now when she walked it alone.

                        CRUNCH.

                        But it seemed she wasn’t QUITE alone. She stopped in her tracks and waited, listening to SEE if there would be another. When there wasn’t, she brought her hand forward and flipped her book open before summoning a spell. There was a FLASH just slightly to the side of what she assumed to be her target.
