Cassandra and Varrics dynamic is fucking amazing like they're constantly snapping at each other and they make fun of each other and she is So Done With Him but ALSO he is without a shadow of a doubt her favourite author of all time and so she's OBSESSED with him at the same time but also he annoys her SO MUCH every day like what a DYNAMIC we love to see it

I think my Dalish inquisitor would end up believing in the Maker solely because after a point its gets hard to not believe that there’s some being out there who wants you dead, and she’s not going to blame her *own* gods. Until the end of Trespasser when she’d be like “Huh ok now one of my own deities maybe has it out for me, I’m still unclear”

And need I say again, decided that the race they have fully acknowledged to be developed from Indigenous, Jewish and Romani sources of inspiration will always have multiracial children who are 100% whatever race their non-elven parent is because “magic”, was an acceptable and not at all an insulting writing choice

You know, just to name a few things that come to mind right away…

Dragon Age is racist.

BioWare is racist.

EA is racist.

Them throwing us some Strong Female Characters does not excuse racism. Them throwing us some LGBT characters does not excuse racism. Them even including characters of colour does not excuse racism, when all of the above is what they do with these characters.

Hc that Hawke staying up by the tower instead of walking around Skyhold wasn’t so Cassandra wouldn’t find out but because Varric knows if they see Cullen it will be an On Sight Asskicking and he doesn’t want Hawke asked to leave.

I mean, sure, Varric would love to see such an asskicking, but maybe after Corypheus is actually gone.

I can’t stop thinking of Varric and Solas becoming friends, eapecially after Cole’s personal Quest. Bc like, if you let Varric help him, Solas is probably still going to keep a close eye on them to make sure nothing Bad happens. And from playing through DA2 and Inquisition Varric is like... so genuinely nice? He looks out for everyone even when he’s hurting. He lies about it, but it’s really not hard to see through the facade when he goes out of his way to help people. If anyone were to find that interesting it’d be Solas, since there’s no reason Varric to be this kind after everything. So just... Solas starting to try talking with Varric. Them setting into some sort of quiet friendship. Ok with each others’ world views. A sense of loss on both sides when Solas finally leaves.
