1. No. stated in the documentary that religion and sex were long together and being shown in that piece of art. It says that it is the physical pleasure of the body and sex as key to ultimate reality. As Indians were sort of conservative by the way Hindu women dress it opposes the carvings in the temple which made me wonder.
2. It may be the cultural differences. As I am not shock as the carvings were stripped and representation of sex. But sex is normal thing but being part of the religion is a different matter.

"chameleon self" self shifts to whatever i want to be. chameleon camouflage/adapt in the environment in order to survive. yes it changes color but it doesnt change the fact that it is still an animal. i acts differently to every aspects but gradually showing the real me.
