you know what is funny to me . when people think that kindness and love are about ”keeping the peace” when in reality kindness and love are quite literally my driving force and are the root cause of my rage . I’m so angry because i care so much and i want everyone to be happy and healthy and comfortable and I HATE when people are mistreated . my kindness and love doesn’t always allow me to keep the peace.

👫 ( kohaku and izuku! )

gym buddies,  workout buddies,  sport buddies,  they support and hype each other so so so much!!  in any verse really but in modern au for kohaku she’d even order them customized matching letterman jackets.  she is his personal cheerleader,  “if no one got me i know they got me” type of energy.  she definitely makes him appear more jock than nerd when she’s around,  though she loves that side of him too!  she encourages his passions,  and if anyone makes him feel bad for “nerding out” then she will smite them herself istg.  though not having an intense rivalry,  they still enjoy sparring and training together.

along with the support so comes the loyalty,  the protectiveness that is kohaku’s act of love for her friends.  izuku has less trouble for standing up for himself and everyone knows he is capable of defending himself in a fight,  but that doesn’t mean kohaku wouldn’t step in and put someone’s foot in their mouth if they even breathe wrong around him.  i feel like he would confide in her about his past with bullies and stuff as they hang out more,  she’d find his experiences horrid and thus has a sharp look whenever someone disagreeable comes by.  this would have her butt heads with katsuki a few times,  they are both brutally honest and hotheaded people with a habit for slipping into violence.  izuku telling her that it’s fine and that he doesn’t feel threatened anymore by katsuki makes kohaku settle down by a bit,  but just a bit.  the two blondes would have some choice words to exchange,  and blows.  izuku comments that they’re sort of alike one time and they both looked at him like he grew a second head.  besides kohaku helping him deal with bullies,  izuku shows the same amount of respect when it comes to some men around her who just won’t take a hint that she’s not interested,  one of these guys being moz  ( as an example )  — izuku also knows that kohaku can defend herself,  but he’d still knock the hell out of someone if they keep pestering.

kohaku is really affectionate to those she trusts and becomes emotionally attached to,  other than acts of service as her love language she also likes to get physically close to someone.  with her friends,  this includes hugs,  chaste kisses around the face  ( sans the lips )  and hands,  casually leaning on,  playing with their hair,  playfully nudging or pinching,  resting her head on them,  wearing their clothes or even burrowing into their jackets while they’re wearing it when it’s cold enough,  and so on.  izuku needed some time to get used to this,  and kohaku had to slow down when reminding herself that he is shy,  more reserved.  he doesn’t dislike it but it won’t stop managing to get him to blush every time.  unfortunately for him,  kohaku also likes to tease.

there have been occasions where someone mistook kohaku for izuku’s girlfriend.  i mean,  they hang out a lot,  made matching clothes,  are intensely protective of each other and kohaku is all over him.  who wouldn’t read it that way?  izuku would,  as embarrassed as he is,  tell them that they have the wrong idea while kohaku would promptly tell people to mind their own business.  they really have the nice guy x mean girl vibe to them,  though they are both feral on different levels  ( kohaku would say that his feral levels far exceed hers when he’s pissed off enough ).  this misunderstanding from others is pretty amusing for kohaku,  would sometimes play the act for the laughs and it makes izuku’s blush worse — which she finds cute.  she also,  out of nowhere,  would ask him to be her pretend boyfriend for a moment so she can shoo away a particularly stubborn fellow without causing a scene and breaking his teeth,  and izuku would take this situation more smoothly than the others that were caused to fluster him.  kohaku uses this technique with her other friends,  including senku or anyone she doesn’t mind clinging to,  and izuku knows this so he doesn’t mind.  in the end,  i think,  izuku becomes used to kohaku’s touch and doesn’t get as shy anymore!

Fantasy AU - Excalibur

In the past, the divine weapon Excalibur was just a common sword given to the First wielder by his older brother as a means of protecting himself. When the First came to be on the brink of death, he cleansed his sword with his very blood and soul. The simple sword, rather than grow rusty, became sharper and stronger. The First's essence had been infused into the blade. The next wielder did the same, and then the next, and then the next. This was repeated over the millennia, each knight inheriting the First's will and cleansing the sword with their blood upon their moment of death before passing it down.

Drenched in blood and imbued the souls of all the wielders bygone, the sword itself started to change beyond stacking exponential power and increasing in caliber and size. It began to choose its users and a person wielding it was judged, determined whether they were worthy of its might. Excalibur won't grant anyone its power except for the one it has chosen.

Though many of its abilities are shrouded in mystery, simply using Excalibur is an incredible feat. To properly use the sword, one needs to reach the ever rising threshold of strength and spirit to fully draw out the sword's power.

Izuku inherited the sword from the paladin, All Might. As the sword's current wielder, he’s gradually learning how to use abilities and sword techniques it holds from all past users. However, in his current state he lacks the necessary power to properly use Excalibur. Eventually the sword becomes too heavy for him to wield and he suffers the backlash resulting from the incredible strain of the bestowed power. The aftershocks leave him too exhausted to move and often deals heavy damage to the body, the recoil enough to shred muscles and shatter bones.

In my verse concurrent with @madestars, at one point / for a period of time the sword split and was divided into two. It maintained its magical strength but, Izuku's half retained the souls of past swordsmen while the other did not. The half Bakugo wielded was known as Caliburn.
