I'm not thinking about you at all

telling jokes and stories. Having a blast
Not thinking about how you left and never came back
How you broke my two friend's hearts along with my own
I don't care that you're gone and I don't miss you at all
The silly way you laugh or your big warm hugs
I've moved on with my life and things are great.

HAMBURGERS FOR EVERYONE
I seem to be losing "weight" in my butt. It looked smaller than usual today which is bad. I say "weight" because according to my scale I haven't actually lost any poundage. 
UGH THE HUMANITY 
In other news, I feel poopy. Might be caffeine withdrawal as I haven't had any coffee today. BIG mistake but I forgot. 
I DONT WANNA DO ANYTHINGGGGGG
Losing weight is really hard. Not eating whatever I please is also really hard. Pizza Hut is now my nemesis. I've seen like 20 of those new slider commercials and now that's all I want. A Pizza Hut slider with sausage. And then maybe a bowl of pasta... TORTELLINI. With a side of mac and cheese. extra cheese. and hotdogs cut up in it. 
I should stop watching TV. I only bring it on myself. 
It's lunch time anyway...

Suddenly, Paleo
My detox plan is basically the Paleo diet minus the good stuff. So at least now I know I can go Paleo and not die (my soul maybe, but my body will live on. and on. and on).
I found a recipe for pancakes that don't include the evil 6 (yes, that is actually the term dailburn uses). HOWEVER Maple syrup and honey are both considered sugar and therefore I will just be eating dry mush cakes. 
If anybody has any bright ideas....

Week 1- challenge complete
Only 2 more weeks of detox and three more weeks of tactical training! No weight loss yet but I feel much better, lighter, and energized. I finished 2 and a 3/4 of my cabinet doors and made dinner for the week. Turkey meatballs in homemade marinera sauce. Tastes amazing after a week of indian style chicken. BAM being productive. ALSO, I accidentally sent a new dress to my old address and I thought I had lost it but the new tenent actually read my note and called me to pick it up. Decent people still exist! Good weekend. I hope Monday goes easy on me.

Excellent day so far....
So I decided to try the Mocha Chocolate recipe "shake". Not too shabby! I am only using 1 scoop of powder instead of the 2 it suggested and it tastes MUCH better and has a much better consistency. 
Workout was just 15 minutes of stretching. AWESOME. This morning I woke  up with 2 cats on me and I literally couldn't move, I was so sore. 
I had avacado and boiled red potatoes this morning which was absolutely delicious!

Tabata, I hardly know her!
I'm doing Tactical Bodyweight Training as my exercise program. It's like Pilates combined with horrible burning sensations. Now, I am no exercise novice. I am overly familiar with Jillian Michael's collection of gut busting workout DVDs. However, in this case, Jillian is like a trainer at a plushy, expensive country club filled with white marble and crystals and Corey is like a hardcore military guy who can work muscles like he's studied them his whole life. Like a Batman of workouts. 
And at  the moment I am really more plushy pink than hardcore Batman. 
I did yesterday's workout after work. Legs a fire, I almost fell over the whole way walking home. If I thought yesterday was tough I didn't even consider doing that workout again with sore muscles and little to no energy. Pretty much just wimped through the whole workout. Tomorrow is the yogaish part though so I should be able to rest somewhat. 
I've been trying to finish off my paste from yesterday. I've only eaten about 1/4th. It's getting easier. I think tomorrow I'll make a fresh batch and maybe take out the avocado to thin it out. Almost salad time!

I have made a huge tiny mistake
Anybody who calls protein powder a "shake" is evil. Shakes are wonderful and delicious. Right now, I am eating paste for breakfast. All the coco powder, chia seeds and ice in the WORLD won't make this any easier. 
Taste wise, it's not horrendous. It's just the texture with the taste. Kind of like eating a Splenda paste mixed with mud. Which is also what it looks like. 
Suck it up, you big baby! It helps if you do one spoonful of paste and wash it down with your now horribly strong coffee (tiny bit of raw sugar and a splash of coconut milk). AND KEEP IT COLD. 
This is my life now...

Daily Burn pre phase
So, I'm starting the ignite detox on daily burn tomorrow. No wheat, dairy, artificial sweeteners, alcohol, or soy. And soy is in everything! I couldn't buy canned tuna at walmart because it has soy! Also, my shakes don't arrive until Thursday so I layed down another $60 for Vegan One at Whole Foods. Which, by the way, had everything I needed despite being pricey (even chai seeds). My coconut bars didn't turn out great. The recipe called for 2 1/4 cup coconut which just seemed like too much. But we'll see. I'm excited for my tuna nicose salad and tika masala! Also, right when the grammys started my yoga mat fell on the yellow wire of my fios which took out my cable AND internet. And I had just started rewatching Game of Thrones. Sorry tech guy, but no, I do not have ramndom weekdays off to wait for the repair guy. Some people actually work regular business hours. So I'll either have to do the workout videos from my phone or do them at work. Tactical bodyweight training is first.

It’s an interesting map that highlights Philadelphia’s colorful crime history, which we have discussed on here from time to time. However, my problem here is that Philly.com put 19th Street EAST of Broad Street.
