Small things to be grateful for:

The man who walks past the bush that’s in bloom in a neighbour’s garden and always stops to smell the flowers before smiling.

The lady who walks her pug past my house every afternoon. The pug gets grumpy at the same spot every time and has to be carried for 5 metres before they scream to be put down and continue the walk.

The fact that May 14th is the day I started writing and having checked how many words I’ve written on stories since then I can tell you it’s 500k+

My dad still buys roses for pictures of mum around the house. Currently there are 3 vases of red and pink ones.
