Smoothie Bowl Celebration!

Today marks my One Year Veganniversary! For today’s mid-day “snack,” I decided to make myself a celebratory PB and chocolate smoothie bowl. 

Smoothie base ingredients: 

Frozen bananas

Peanut butter 

Cacao powder

Unsweetened vanilla almond milk (I added a bit too much almond milk, but the base was still a good/thick consistency!)

I topped the bowl with…

Sliced banana

Blueberries

Nature’s Path Pumpkin Seed + Flax Granola

Peanut butter

Hemp seeds

Chia seeds

but they’ve aged, they’ve gone stale; now, they all seem so similar

cute things about humans that i love

- we carve souvenirs of our love in trees and benches and pavements

- we fit like puzzle pieces in hugs and holding hands

- stars and clouds are things we find shapes in

- we find connections with people across the world from us

- the way we write letters and sentences to express our love

- we dance in kitchens and streets and living rooms

- we laugh until our stomachs hurt

- songs make us think of people

- we encourage and remind thousands of people we don’t even know to love and care for themselves
