रानी पद्मिनी

एक शौर्य गाथा )

वीर वीरांगनाओं की धरती राजपूताना...जहाँ के इतिहास में आन बान शान या कहें कि सत्य पर बलिदान होने वालों की अनेक गाथाएं अंकित है। एक कवि ने राजस्थान के वीरों के लिए कहा है :

"पूत जण्या जामण इस्या मरण जठे असकेल

सूँघा सिर, मूंघा करया पण सतियाँ नारेल"

{ वहां ऐसे पुत्रों को माताओं ने जन्म दिया था जिनका उदेश्य के लिए म़र जाना खेल जैसा था ...जहाँ की सतियों अर्थात वीर बालाओं ने सिरों को सस्ता और नारियलों को महंगा कर दिया था...(यह रानी पद्मिनी के जौहर को इंगित करता है)...}

आज दिल कर रहा है मेवाड़ की महारानी पद्मिनी की गाथा आप सब से शेयर करने का...

१३०२ इश्वी में मेवाड़ के राजसिंहासन पर रावल रतन सिंह आरूढ़ हुए. उनकी रानियों में एक थी पद्मिनी जो श्री लंका के राजवंश की राजकुँवरी थी. रानी पद्मिनी का अनिन्द्य सौन्दर्य यायावर गायकों (चारण/भाट/कवियों) के गीतों का विषय बन गया था। दिल्ली के तात्कालिक सुल्तान अल्ला-उ-द्दीन खिलज़ी ने पद्मिनी के अप्रतिम सौन्दर्य का वर्णन सुना और वह पिपासु हो गया उस सुंदरी को अपने हरम में शामिल करने के लिए। अल्ला-उ-द्दीन ने चित्तौड़ (मेवाड़ की राजधानी) की ओर कूच किया अपनी अत्याधुनिक हथियारों से लेश सेना के साथ। मकसद था चित्तौड़ पर चढ़ाई कर उसे जीतना और रानी पद्मिनी को हासिल करना। ज़ालिम सुलतान बढा जा रहा था, चित्तौड़गढ़ के नज़दीक आये जा रहा था। उसने चित्तौड़गढ़ में अपने दूत को इस पैगाम के साथ भेजा कि अगर उसको रानी पद्मिनी को सुपुर्द कर दिया जाये तो वह मेवाड़ पर आक्रमण नहीं करेगा।

रणबाँकुरे राजपूतों के लिए यह सन्देश बहुत शर्मनाक था। उनकी बहादुरी कितनी ही उच्चस्तरीय क्यों ना हो, उनके हौसले कितने ही बुलंद क्यों ना हो, सुलतान की फौजी ताक़त उनसे कहीं ज्यादा थी। रणथम्भोर के किले को सुलतान हाल ही में फतह कर लिया था ऐसे में बहुत ही गहरे सोच का विषय हो गया था सुल्तान का यह घृणित प्रस्ताव, जो सुल्तान की कामुकता और दुष्टता का प्रतीक था। कैसे मानी जा सकती थी यह शर्मनाक शर्त।

नारी के प्रति एक कामुक नराधम का यह रवैय्या क्षत्रियों के खून खौला देने के लिए काफी था। रतन सिंह जी ने सभी सरदारों से मंत्रणा की, कैसे सामना किया जाय इस नीच लुटेरे का जो बादशाह के जामे में लिपटा हुआ था। कोई आसान रास्ता नहीं सूझ रहा था। मरने मारने का विकल्प तो अंतिम था। क्यों ना कोई चतुराईपूर्ण राजनीतिक कूटनीतिक समाधान समस्या का निकाला जाय ?

रानी पद्मिनी न केवल अनुपम सौन्दर्य की स्वामिनी थी, वह एक बुद्धिमता नारी भी थी। उसने अपने विवेक से स्थिति पर गौर किया और एक संभावित हल समस्या का सुझाया। अल्ला-उ-द्दीन को जवाब भेजा गया कि वह अकेला निरस्त्र गढ़ (किले) में प्रवेश कर सकता है, बिना किसी को साथ लिए, राजपूतों का वचन है कि उसे किसी प्रकार का नुकसान नहीं पहुंचाया जायेगा....हाँ वह केवल रानी पद्मिनी को देख सकता है...बस. उसके पश्चात् उसे चले जाना होगा चित्तौड़ को छोड़ कर... जहाँ कहीं भी, उम्मीद कम थी कि इस प्रस्ताव को सुल्तान मानेगा। किन्तु आश्चर्य हुआ जब दिल्ली के आका ने इस बात को मान लिया। निश्चित दिन को अल्ला-उ-द्दीन पूर्व के चढ़ाईदार मार्ग से किले के मुख्य दरवाज़े तक चढ़ा, और उसके बाद पूर्व दिशा में स्थित सूरजपोल तक पहुंचा। अपने वादे के मुताबिक वह नितान्त अकेला और निरस्त्र था, पद्मिनी के पति रावल रतन सिंह ने महल तक उसकी अगवानी की। महल के उपरी मंजिल पर स्थित एक कक्ष कि पिछली दीवार पर एक दर्पण लगाया गया, जिसके ठीक सामने एक दूसरे कक्ष की खिड़की खुल रही थी...उस खिड़की के पीछे झील में स्थित एक मंडपनुमा महल था जिसे रानी अपने ग्रीष्म विश्राम के लिए उपयोग करती थी। रानी मंडपनुमा महल में थी जिसका बिम्ब खिडकियों से होकर उस दर्पण में पड़ रहा था अल्लाउद्दीन को कहा गया कि दर्पण में झांके। हक्केबक्के सुलतान ने आईने की जानिब अपनी नज़र की और उसमें रानी का अक्स उसे दिख गया ...तकनीकी तौर पर उसे रानी साहिबा को दिखा दिया गया था..सुल्तान को एहसास हो गया कि उसके साथ चालबाजी की गयी है, किन्तु बोल भी नहीं पा रहा था, मेवाड़ नरेश ने रानी के दर्शन कराने का अपना वादा जो पूरा किया था......और उस पर वह नितान्त अकेला और निरस्त्र भी था।

परिस्थितियां असमान्य थी, किन्तु एक राजपूत मेजबान की गरिमा को अपनाते हुए, दुश्मन अल्लाउद्दीन को ससम्मान वापस पहुँचाने मुख्य द्वार तक स्वयं रावल रतन सिंह जी गये थे .....अल्लाउद्दीन ने तो पहले से ही धोखे की योजना बना रखी थी। उसके सिपाही दरवाज़े के बाहर छिपे हुए थे...दरवाज़ा खुला....रावल साहब को जकड लिया गया और उन्हें पकड़ कर शत्रु सेना के खेमे में कैद कर दिया गया।

रावल रतन सिंह दुश्मन की कैद में थे। अल्लाउद्दीन ने फिर से पैगाम भेजा गढ़ में कि राणाजी को वापस गढ़ में सुपुर्द कर दिया जायेगा, अगर रानी पद्मिनी को उसे सौंप दिया जाय। चतुर रानी ने काकोसा गोरा और उनके १२ वर्षीय भतीजे बादल से मशविरा किया और एक चातुर्यपूर्ण योजना राणाजी को मुक्त करने के लिए तैयार की।

अल्लाउद्दीन को सन्देश भेजा गया कि अगले दिन सुबह रानी पद्मिनी उसकी खिदमत में हाज़िर हो जाएगी, दिल्ली में चूँकि उसकी देखभाल के लिए उसकी खास दसियों की ज़रुरत भी होगी, उन्हें भी वह अपने साथ लिवा लाएगी। प्रमुदित अल्लाउद्दीन सारी रात्रि सो न सका...कब रानी पद्मिनी आये उसके हुज़ूर में, कब वह विजेता की तरह उसे भी जीते.....कल्पना करता रहा रात भर पद्मिनी के सुन्दर तन की....प्रभात बेला में उसने देखा कि एक जुलुस सा सात सौ बंद पालकियों का चला आ रहा है। खिलज़ी अपनी जीत पर इतरा रहा था। खिलज़ी ने सोचा था कि ज्योंही पद्मिनी उसकी गिरफ्त में आ जाएगी, रावल रतन सिंह का वध कर दिया जायेगा...और चित्तौड़ पर हमला कर उस पर कब्ज़ा कर लिया जायेगा। कुटिल हमलावर इस से ज्यादा सोच भी क्या सकता था। खिलज़ी के खेमे में इस अनूठे जुलूस ने प्रवेश किया...और तुरंत अस्तव्यस्तता का माहौल बन गया...पालकियों से नहीं उतरी थी अनिन्द्य सुंदरी रानी पद्मिनी और उसकी दासियों का झुण्ड....बल्कि पालकियों से कूद पड़े थे हथियारों से लेश रणबांकुरे राजपूत योद्धा ....जो अपनी जान पर खेल कर अपने राजा को छुड़ा लेने का ज़ज्बा लिए हुए थे। गोरा और बादल भी इन में सम्मिलित थे, मुसलमानों ने तुरत अपने सुल्तान को सुरक्षा घेरे में लिया। रतन सिंह जी को उनके आदमियों ने खोज निकाला और सुरक्षा के साथ किले में वापस ले गये। घमासान युद्ध हुआ, जहाँ दया करुणा को कोई स्थान नहीं था। मेवाड़ी और मुसलमान दोनों ही रण-खेत रहे, मैदान इंसानी लाल खून से सुर्ख हो गया था। शहीदों में गोरा और बादल भी थे, जिन्होंने मेवाड़ के भगवा ध्वज की रक्षा के लिए अपनी आहुति दे दी थी।

अल्लाउद्दीन की खूब मिटटी पलीद हुई. खिसियाता, क्रोध में आग बबूला होता हुआ, लौमड़ी सा चालाक और कुटिल सुल्तान दिल्ल�� को लौट गया। उसे चैन कहाँ था, जुगुप्सा का दावानल उसे लगातार जलाए जा रहा था। एक औरत ने उस अधिपति को अपने चातुर्य और शौर्य से मुंह के बल पटक गिराया था। उसका पुरुष चित्त उसे कैसे स्वीकार का सकता था। उसके अहंकार को करारी चोट लगी थी, मेवाड़ का राज्य उसकी आँख की किरकिरी बन गया था।

कुछ महीनों के बाद वह फिर चढ़ बैठा था चित्तौडगढ़ पर, ज्यादा फौज और तैय्यारी के साथ। उसने चित्तौड़गढ़ के पास मैदान में अपना खेमा डाला, किले को घेर लिया गया....किसी का भी बाहर निकलना सम्भव नहीं था..दुश्मन कि फौज के सामने मेवाड़ के सिपाहियों की तादाद और ताक़त बहुत कम थी। थोड़े बहुत आक्रमण शत्रु सेना पर बहादुर राजपूत कर पाते थे लेकिन उनको कहा जा सकता था ऊंट के मुंह में जीरा। सुल्तान की फौजें वहां अपना पड़ाव डाले बैठी थी, इंतज़ार में. छः महीने बीत गये, किले में संगृहीत रसद ख़त्म होने को आई। अब एक ही चार�� बचा था, "करो या मरो" या "घुटने टेको" आत्मसमर्पण या शत्रु के सामने घुटने टेक देना बहादुर राजपूतों के गौरव लिए अभिशाप तुल्य था, ऐसे में बस एक ही विकल्प बचा था झूझना...युद्ध करना...शत्रु का यथासंभव संहार करते हुए वीरगति को पाना।

बहुत बड़ी विडंबना थी कि शत्रु के कोई नैतिक मूल्य नहीं थे। वे न केवल पुरुषों को मारते काटते, नारियों से बलात्कार करते और उन्हें भी मार डालते। यही चिंता समायी थी धर्म परायण शिशोदिया वंश के राजपूतों में....और मेवाड़ियों ने एक ऐतिहासिक निर्णय लिया।

किले के बीच स्थित मैदान में लकड़ियों, नारियलों एवम् अन्य इंधनों का ढेर लगाया गया.....सारी स्त्रियों ने, रानी से दासी तक, अपने बच्चों के साथ गोमुख कुन्ड में विधिवत पवित्र स्नान किया....सजी हुई चित्ता को घी, तेल और धूप से सींचा गया....और पलीता लगाया गया. चित्ता से उठती लपटें आकाश को छू रही थी। नारियां अपने श्रेष्ठतम वस्त्र-आभूषणों से सुसज्जित थी, अपने पुरुषों को अश्रुपूरित विदाई दे रही थी....अंत्येष्टि के शोकगीत गाये जा रही थी. अफीम अथवा ऐसे ही किसी अन्य शामक औषधियों के प्रभाव से प्रशांत हुई, महिलाओं ने रानी पद्मावती के नेतृत्व में चित्ता कि ओर प्रस्थान किया....और कूद पड़ी धधकती चित्ता में....अपने आत्मदाह के लिए....जौहर के लिए....देशभक्ति और गौरव के उस महान यज्ञ में अपनी पवित्र आहुति देने के लिए।

जय एकलिंग, हर हर महादेव के उदघोषों से गगन गुंजरित हो उठा था. आत्माओं का परमात्मा से विलय हो रहा था।

अगस्त २५, १३०३ कि भोर थी, आत्मसंयमी दुखसुख को समान रूप से स्वीकार करनेवाला भाव लिए, पुरुष खड़े थे उस हवन कुन्ड के निकट, कोमलता से भगवद गीता के श्लोकों का कोमल स्वर में पाठ करते हुए.....अपनी अंतिम श्रद्धा अर्पित करते हुए.... प्रतीक्षा में कि वह विशाल अग्नि उपशांत हो। पौ फट गयी.....सूरज कि लालिमा ताम्रवर्ण लिए आकाश में आच्छादित हुई.....पुरुषों ने केसरिया बागे पहन लिए....अपने अपने भाल पर जौहर की पवित्र भभूत से टीका किया....मुंह में प्रत्येक ने तुलसी का पता रखा....दुर्ग के द्वार खोल दिए गये। जय एकलिंग....हर हर महादेव कि हुंकार लगते रणबांकुरे मेवाड़ी टूट पड़े शत्रु सेना पर...मरने मारने का ज़ज्बा था....आखरी दम तक अपनी तलवारों को शत्रु का रक्त पिलाया...और स्वयं लड़ते लड़ते वीरगति को प्राप्त हो गये।

अल्लाउद्दीन खिलज़ी की जीत उसकी हार थी, क्योंकि उसे रानी पद्मिनी का शरीर हासिल नहीं हुआ, न मेवाड़ कि पगड़ी उसके कदमों में गिरी।

काल के कपाल पर इतिहास लिख गये, काल लेकर साथ अपने उनको चल दिया। भर लिया बाहों उनको, जो सब लुटा गये। रहे अटल, सोचा अटल, जागे अटल तनहा रहे बन इबारत कोटि जन के दिल मे बस गये यादें अटल अप ले करम की, छोड़ चल गये। काल के कपाल पर इतिहास लिख गये।

राजनैतिक समेकन की आहट और राजनीति का बिगड़ता स्वरूप

रंजीतजी,

जब लक्ष्य की पकड़ दूर हो जाती है तब क्षेम याद आता है। जो बचा हुआ है उसे पकड़ कर रखो।

राजनीति में अब वही लोग तथाकथित गैर साम्प्रदायिक दलों से जुड़े हैं जो या तो स्वार्थवश मजबूर हैं या फिर येन केन प्रकारेण विरोध की भाषा बोलकर अपने आप को स्थापित करते रहना चाहते हैं।

ऐसे लोगों का राष्ट्रधर्म या विकास से कोई लेना देना नहीं होता। अपितु ये अपने स्वार्थ को परवान चढ़ाने के लिये सामाजिक एकता, सौहार्द, राष्ट्रीय एकता और चेतना की बली देकर हार्दिक पटेल, मेवानी, अल्पेश या फिर औवेसी और कैजरीवाल के रूप में अवतरित होते रहते हैं।

जातिवाद और सांप्रदायिकता को उकसाकर अपने "सेवक" भी पैदा कर लेना भारत की नासमझ और अभावग्रस्त जनता मे सहज ही संभव कर लेते हैं।

परिदृश्य से ओझल होती कांग्रेस अब इनका साथ तलाश कर रही है। अनेकों गेटों से संचित धन के बल की चुंबकीय ताकत इन्हें खींच कर जोड़ भी लेगी।

विरोधी मानसिकता के धनी उभरने को उत्सुक छुटभयै नेता इनमें ही अपना भविष्य खोजते हुए जुड़ जाते हैं और विकास की हर समिधा में मीन मेख निकालकर भ्रम भय और आक्रोश फैलाने के प्रयास के मोहरे बन जाते हैं।

धन बल का प्रयोग या ईवीएम की खामी आदि बताना इन्हीं प्रयासों का हिस्सा है।

पर ऐसे लोग जन जाग्रति की चेतना के आभास से अनजान है मुझे ऐसा लगता है।

पछुआ से पुरवैया तक भाजपाई हवाएँ

*त्रिपुरा की माणिक सरकार* को जैसे ही एग्जिट पोल से ज्ञात हुआ कि इस बार उन्हें भाजपा के हाथों शिकस्त झेलनी पड़ सकती है। वैसे ही पार्टी प्रवक्ता सुमीत चोपड़ा ने जानकारी दी कि *एग्जिट पोल गलत हैं।* वे तीस सीटें जीतने जा रहें है। उनके अनुसार 12 सीटों पर वी वी पैट में गड़बड़ी हुई है। यानि कि 30-12 =18 सीटें। *एग्जिट पोल भी इतनी ही सीटें दे रहा है।* यानी कि राज्य में माणिक सरकार की मशीनरी के बावजूद छेड़ छाड़.. वाह..!!

हाल ही में सम्पन्न हुए *राजस्थान व मध्यप्रदेश उप चुनावों में क्या भाजपा सरकार मूंगफली बेच रही थी* के सरकारी मशीनरी हाथ मे होने के बावजूद भी वी वी पैट के मेकेनिज़्म को अपने पक्ष में नहीं कर पाई...!!

उत्तर पूर्व राज्यों पर *भाजपा की जबरदस्त चुनावी छापेमारी से विपक्ष की चूलें हिल सी गई है।*

असम व मिज़ोरम में भाजपा या भाजपा समर्थित सरकारें चल रही है। आज उत्तर पूर्व के तीन में से दो राज्यों के परिणाम भाजपा के पक्ष में आ सकतें है। जबकि मेघालय में भी भाजपा व एनपीपी की मिलीजुली सरकार बन सकती है! इस प्रकार भाजपा का परचम समूचे उत्तर पूर्व राज्यों पर लहराने में सम्भवतया कामयाब हो सकता है!!

विरोधी दल फिर एक सुर में अपनी हार का ठीकरा *वी वी पैट मशीन के मत्थे फोड़ेगा।* जबकि राजस्थान एवम् मध्यप्रदेश के हाल ही में सम्पन्न चुनाव में जब भाजप चुनाव हारी तब *किसी ने चुं तक नहीं की*। तब क्या वी वी पैट मशीन ठीक थी। अब हार रहें है तो मशीन दोषी जाएगी!

*विपक्ष जब तक अपनी इस तरह कि बेबुनियादी राजनीतिक चालों से बाज़ नही आएगी तब तक दोषारोपण की वृति कब तक उन्हें मुहं छुपाने के लिए जगह मुहैया कराती रहेगी..!*

इस तरह् पश्चिम से पूर्व तक भाजपाई हवाएं विरोधियों को परेशान करती रहेगी।

India Budget 2018: A Paradigm sift to Basics

I am rating this Budget 2018 as policy wise a paradigm sift to Basic development of the country. It is a Budget of BHARAT rather than India.

The economic policy from budget always cantered to trade and industry or aids and freebees.

THIS BUDGET IS TO FACILITATE AND ENCOURAGE THE PEOPLE TO WORK RATHER THEN LIVING ON AIDS AND FREEBEES  

This time FM did not give any aid to any section rather then FM tried to boost the support system to entire economy.

People may say that only announcements are not enough. But so far, the government has shown the best record of execution of its plans. So these plans coming in reality can be trusted.

 1.     For Common man and Rural Development:

India carry a tag of “Poor Country” despite large work force and talent. Every time some short of aids and freebees announced and people are happy but that may only survive the day but cannot motivate them to work and earn. “Antyoday” in Rajasthan, MANREGA etc. was tried but could not go long in lack of systems and infrastructure and course of time these schemes become the best point of corruption   With DBT and other such majors these schemes were started paying ground. We for our political benefit may say that employment generation is not there. But in real world the labour intense industry is suffering heavily today. From last few budgets the self-entrepreneur schemes sifted the workers from service to business and profession. The availability of ample conveyances in rural areas and growth of car companies despite business deflation at large is one of the best example of it. To enabling these Rural and poor people with  and to make their life more easier, there has been enough in this budget.

a.       Ujwala will give 3Crs. free new LPG connections. Total become 8 Crs.

b.       By 2022, all poor people have a house to live in.

c.       AMRUT programme will focus on water supply to all households in 500 cities. Water supply contracts for 494 projects worth 19,428 core awarded.

d.       Target the construction of two crore more toilets in 2018-19

e.       Allocation of Rs. 56,619 crore for SC welfare, Rs. 39,135 crore for ST

f.        Launching a flagship National Health Protection Scheme to cover 10 crore poor and vulnerable families, benefiting approximately 50Crs peoples. Providing Rs 5 lakh per family per year for medical reimbursement, THIS WILL BE WORLD’S LARGEST HEALTH PROTECTION SCHEME.

g.       24 new government medical colleges and hospitals to be set up by upgrading existing district hospitals. with this plan is to create One medical college per every three constituency.

h.       Rs 600 crore for nutritional support to TB.

i.         Rs 14.34 lakh crore to be spent for providing livelihood to rural India through infrastructure.

2.       For Senior Citizens and salary class

a.       Rs 50,000 additional benefit to senior citizens for investment in Medi-claim.

b.       A standard deduction of additional Rs 40,000 for salaried employees. - This move will benefit 2.5 crore taxpayers will not have much tax saving but will give away big huldels and tension of submitting bills and proofs. Will also end the long que in March at pharmacist for false bills. IT WILL ALSO REDUCE HUDLES AT COMPANY’S END TO KEEP HUGE RECORDS UNNECESSORILY

c.       Women’s contribution reduced to 8.33% towards PF in the first 3 years for new EPF accounts.

d.       The government will contribute 12% of EPF contribution for new employees in all sectors for the next three years. This will encourage more and more people to motivate to come under EPF shelter.

 3.     Agriculture Sector

We always said that the Indian economy is confined to farmers. But nothing concrete was done to motivate them to more farming. Rather by way of loan waiver kind of mechanism we encouraged them to pretend not to work as the loan taken will be waived one point of time. The rate of MSP was the only other point of Farmer benefit.

The setting up of 1.5-time crop payment mechanism will never require the loan waiver and will give away the burden on Banks and Government.

a.       100% tax deduction for the first five years to companies registered as farmer producer companies with a turnover of Rs. 100 crore and above. This will increase the organised and bulk Agro Farming resulting the implementing of modern technology in agriculture sector.

b.       Credit for agricultural activities is up from Rs 10 lakh crore to Rs 11 lakh crore .

c.       Fishery and aquaculture and animal husbandry funds with a total corpus of Rs 10,000 crore.

d.       Agri-Market Development Fund with a corpus of Rs 2000 crore to be set up for developing agricultural markets.

e.       Restructured National Bamboo Mission to be launched with an allocation of Rs 1290 crore to promote bamboo sector in a holistic manner.

f.        Grameen Agricultural Market (GRAM) will provide farmers a means to sell directly to buyers.

g.       Rs 500 crore announced for Operation Green.

h.       Allocation to food processing ministry is being doubled from Rs 715 crore to Rs 1400 crore.

i.         Cluster-model approach to be adopted for agricultural production.

j.         The focus is on low-cost farming, higher MSP. Emphasis is on generating farm and non-farm employment for farmers.

k.       470 APMCs have been connected to eNAM network, the rest to be connected by March 2018... Agri-Market Development Fund with a corpus of 2000 crore to be set up for developing agricultural markets

l.         The government will ensure payment of full MSP even if farmers sell below MSP.

m.    THE MINIMUM SUPPORT PRICE OF ALL CROPS SHALL BE INCREASED TO AT LEAST 1.5 TIMES THAT OF THE PRODUCTION COST.

4.     Infrastructure

The infrastructural recession had been the major cause of less rural  development in India. Now the growth of all commuting systems ie. Air, Rail, Water and Road is under fast track growth and the connectivity to all villages (till all public points) by road, water transport, Air and rail transport will create the increase in local business and MSME on village sites. The larger creation of Healthcare and Education facility will also a prudence in generation local businesses rather putting pressure on Urban Infrastructure.

a.       Rs 5.97 lakh crore allocated for infrastructure spending in India.

b.       Redevelopment of 600 major railway stations has been taken up;

c.       Mumbai transport system is being expanded;

d.       Suburban network of 160 km planned for Bengaluru...

e.       UDAN will connect 56 unserved airports in India. – This will impact rural connectivity and availability of air transport of rural areas.

f.      An institute is coming up at Vadodara to train people for the bullet train programme.

g.     Rs 1,48,528 crore is the capital expenditure for the Indian Railways for 2018-19... All trains to be progressively provided with WiFi, CCTV and other state-of-the-art amenities.

h.     Bharatmala project approved for better road connectivity at Rs 5.35 lakh crore.

i.       Proposal to develop 10 prominent tourist destinations as Iconic tourism destinations.

j.         One medical college per every three constituency.

k.     Rs 1200 crore for the flagship programme in health wellness centres.

l.       Rs 14.34 lakh crore to be spent for providing livelihood to rural India through infrastructure.

m.   We aim that by 2022, all poor people have a house to live in.

n.      In the next financial year, we target the construction of two crore toilets.

5.     Industry and Business growth

a.       Propose to increase the custom duty on mobiles from 15% to 20% and on some other mobile parts to 15%, and some parts of TVs to 15%. Indian Industry will boost

b.     I propose to extend the benefit of the reduced corporate rate of 25% for companies with reported turnover of up to Rs 250 crore. – Will save good Tax to invest in further growth to generate more employment. ALMOST 90% INDIAN COMPANIES WILL GET BENEFITED.

c.      Proposes to revamp the system of sanctioning of loans to SMEs. The information required for sanctioning the loan will be linked with GSTN and all required information can be fetched from GSTN Portal. It will help to grant the loans quickly and will help in reducing processing time

d.     Proposal to develop 10 prominent tourist destinations as Iconic tourism destinations.

e.     The Foreign Investor profit taxation is also addressed adequately.

f.      The ease of procedures for exporters will help to achieve better export target.

6.     Revenue Majors

After GST the revenue of government in based mainly on 3 points that is, GST, Customs, Income tax. This consolidation put government to play limited as far as revenue is concerned. that is why only some small majors taken place in this budget.

a.       Propose to increase the health and education cess to 4%. -  A small increase will not matter much as only higher earning people will be affected by it.

b.       Propose to tax long term capital gains exceeding Rs 1 lakh in listed stock at 10%.- Move to regularise and consolidate the tax system with parity. this will also curtail the adjustment of price rigging at stock exchanges and in also in actual business profits.

7.     Economy:

a.       India grew at an average of 7.5% in the first three years since 2014. It is now a 2.5 trillion dollar economy.

b.       41% more returns were filed this year, which shows that more people have joined the tax net.

c.       Demonetisation was received by honest taxpayers as ‘IMAANDAARI ka UTSAV’.

d.       Revised fiscal deficit estimate for 2017-18 is 3.5% of GDP, fiscal deficit of 3.3% expected for 2018-19.

e.       Recapitalisation to enable PSU banks to lend Rs 5 lakh crore.

f.        Exceeded the disinvestment target and collected Rs 1 lakh crore: FM.

g.       The government insurance companies to be merged into a single entity, and subsequently listed in the stock exchange, as part of the disinvestment.

h.       We will explore the use of blockchain. Government to take all steps to eliminate use of cryptocurrencies which are being used to fund illegitimate transactions.

i.         Rs 5.97 lakh crore allocated for infrastructure spending in India.

j.         70 lakh farming jobs have been created this year, shows an independent study. This is the figure of organised sector only. Job growth in Un-organise sector and from self-entrepreneur program is not recorded.

k.       Rs 3 lakh crore allocated for PM MUDRA Yojana.

l.         Announce allocation of Rs. 56,619 crore for SC welfare and Rs. 39,135 crore for ST.

m.     Loans to self help groups will increase to Rs 75,000 crore by March 2019.

8.       Good Governance

a.       The government has ensured that services and benefits reach people directly. The direct benefit transfer in India is the biggest such exercise in the world.

b.       Maximum governance, minimum government has ensured India has climbed 42 places in the ease of doing business... We are now working toward easing of living in India

c.       Automatic revision of MPs’ emoluments every five years, indexed to inflation.

d.       Emoluments of President, Vice President and Governor being revised: Rs 5 lakh; 4 lakh; Rs 3.5 lakh per month respectively.

e.       The government insurance companies to be merged into a single entity, and subsequently listed in the stock exchange, as part of the disinvestment

f.        The government will assign every enterprise in India a unique ID on the lines of Aadhaar.

g.       The government has identified 372 basic business reform actions. Each state will take up these reforms.

h.       We will explore the use of blockchain. Government to take all steps to eliminate use of cryptocurrencies which are being used to fund illegitimate transactions.

i.         5 lakh WiFi hotspots to be set up in rural areas to provide easy Internet access- This Boost Digitalisation and will also be catalyst to information availability in Rural India.

j.         Proposes to revamp the system of sanctioning of loans to SMEs. The information required for sanctioning the loan will be linked with GSTN and all required information can be fetched from GSTN Portal. It will help to grant the loans quickly and will help in reducing processing time.

k.       The government is slowly but steadily progressing towards universal health coverage. Launching a flagship National Health Protection Scheme to cover 10 crore poor and vulnerable families, benefiting approximately 50 crore. Providing Rs 5 lakh per family per year for medical reimbursement, under National Health Protection Scheme. This will be world’s largest health protection scheme.

l.         Mass formalization of MSME sector is happening after demonetization and GST.

9.       General National Issues:

a.       Total 187 projects sanctioned under the Namami Gange.

b.       Rs 600 crore for nutritional support to TB.

c.       One medical college per every three constituency.

d.       Removal of crop residue to be subsidised in order to tackle the problem of pollution due to burning of crop residue:

e.       Special scheme to address air pollution in Delhi-NCR region.

f.        We aim that by 2022, all poor people have a house to live in.

g.       In the next financial year, we target the construction of two crore toilets.

h.       Ujwala will give 3 crore women new LPG connections. Total will become 8 Crs.

i.         Agro Product at Record High in the country, by 2022  committed to double the farmer income.

10.   Education

a.       Eighteen new schools of planning and architecure will be set up...

b.       Railway university in Vodadara.

c.       An institute is coming up at Vadodara to train people for the bullet train programme.

d.       Eklavya schools to be started for Scheduled Tribe population.

e.       Scheme for revitalizing school infrastructure, with an allocation of 1 lakh crore rupees over four years. Called RISE - Revitalizing Infrastructure in School Education.

f.        Integrated B.Ed programme to be initiated for teachers, to improve quality of teachers.

Shameful Dishonouring of Indian Army and Army Officer

On 27Jan18, an army convoy at Ganaupura in Shopian came under unprovoked and intense stone pelting by a mob of 250 plus stone pelters. Traitors caused extensive damage to army vehicles and tried to set them on fire. A junior commissioned officer in the convoy got hit on the head and fell unconscious suffering serious injury. The mob tried to lynch the individual and snatch his weapon. stone pelters attempted to set vehicles on fire. Extreme gravity forced the army to open fire in self defence to prevent lynching of the JCO and burning of Government vehicle by the mob. Seven army men suffered injuries and extensive damage caused to eleven vehicles. In the process two civilians succumbed to the bullet injuries.

Surprisingly J&K has lodged FIR naming Major Aditya of 10 Garhwal Rifles for murder under section 320. The political class such as Muftis and Abdullahs shamefully consider stone pelters as innocent civilians!! This is an attempt to demoralise Indian Army so as to hamper Counter Insurgency operations.

Dear Indians have you ever heard of a nation where army officers are subjected to such ill treatment while doing their duty for the nation.

Major Aditya of 10 Garhwal is a fearless officer and a true patriot! Country may recollect anti terrorists operation on 30 Nov 2017 at Futlipora in Badgaon. Major Aditya led that operation which resulted in killing of four deadly terrorists of Jaish-E- Muhammad headed by Masoor Azhar based in Pakistan. Same Masoor Azhar for which India has been trying in UN to designate him global terrorist. Thesee killings touched a figure of 200 in the year 2017. The nefarious design of dirty kashmir politics will never succeed in turnishing the image of our army and demoralising them. The country stand behing army and Major Aditya firmly and salute young officer for his service to the nation.

Silence in the galleries of Delhi is disgusting and hugely disappointing!! Army Chief is known to be straightforward and outspoken but surprisingly hasn't made any public statement to address the army and nation. nation wants to know why Chief is silent.

असली बाप

जपान के एक गांव में एक सुंदर युवा फ़कीर था।सारा गाँव उसे श्रद्धा करता और आदर देता.

लेकिन एक दिन सारी बात बदल गई. गाँव में अफ़वाह उड़ी कि उस फ़कीर से किसी स्‍त्री को बच्चा रह गया. वो बच्चा पैदा हुआ है. उस स्‍त्री ने अपने बाप को कह दिया कि उस फ़कीर का बच्चा है, ये फ़कीर उसका बाप है.

सारा गाँव टूट पड़ा उस फ़कीर पर. जाके उसके झोपड़े में आग लगा दी. सुबह सर्दी के दिन थे, वो बाहर बैठा था. उसने पूछा कि, “मित्रों! ये क्या कर रहे हो? क्या बात है?”

तो जाके उन्होंने उस बच्चे को उसके ऊपर पटक दिया और कहा, “हमसे पूछते हो क्या बात है? ये बेटा तुम्हारा है!”

उस फ़कीर ने कहा, “इज़ इट सो? ऐसी बात है? अब जब तुम कहते हो तो ठीक ही कहते होओगे. क्योंकि भीड़ तो कुछ गलत कहती ही नहीं. भीड़ तो हमेशा सच ही कहती है. अब जब तुम कहते हो तो ठीक ही कहते होओगे.”

वो बेटा रोने लगा, तो वो उसे समझाने लगा. गाँव भर के लोग गालियाँ देकर वापिस लौट आए, उस बच्चे को उसी के पास छोड़कर.

फिर दोपहर को जब वो भीख माँगने निकला तो उस बच्चे को लेके भीख माँगने निकला गाँव में. कौन उसे भीख देगा? आप भीख देते? कोई उसे भीख नहीं देगा. जिस दरवाज़े पे गया, दरवाज़े बन्द हो गए. उस रोते हुए छोटे बच्चे को लेके उस फ़कीर का उस गाँव से गुज़रना...बड़ी अजीब सी हालत रही होगी...बच्चों की, लोगों की भीड़ उसके पीछे गालियाँ देती हुई...

फिर वो उस दरवाज़े के सामने पहुँचा, जिसकी बेटी का ये लड़का है. और उसने उस दरवाज़े के सामने आवाज़ लगाई कि, “क़सूर मेरा होगा इसका बाप होने में, लेकिन इसका मेरे बेटे होने में तो कोई क़सूर नहीं हो सकता. बाप होने में मेरी ग़लती होगी, लेकिन इसकी तो कोई ग़लती नहीं हो सकती. कम से कम इसे तो दूध मिल जाए.”

वो लड़की द्वार पर खड़ी थी. उसके प्राण कँप गए. फ़कीर को भीड़ में घिरा हुआ, पत्थर खाते हुए देखकर...वो उस बच्चे को बच्चा रहा है...उसके माथे से ख़ून बह रहा है...सच्ची बात छिपाना मुश्किल हो गई. उसने अपने बाप के पैर पकड़के कहा कि, “क्षमा करें! इस फ़कीर को तो मैं पहचानती भी नहीं. सिर्फ़ इसके असली बाप को बचाने के लिए मैंने इस फ़कीर का झूठा नाम ले लिया.”

वो बाप आके फ़कीर के पैरों पे गिर पड़ा और बच्चे को छीनने लगा और कहा, “क्षमा कर दें!”

फ़कीर ने पूछा, “लेकिन बात क्या है? बेटे को छीनते क्यों हो?”

उसके बाप ने कहा, लड़की के बाप ने कि, “आप कैसे नासमझ हैं! आपने सुबह ही क्यों न बताया कि ये बेटा आपका नहीं है? आप छोड़ दें, ये बेटा आपका नहीं है, हमसे भूल हो गई.”

वो फ़कीर कहने लगा, “इज़ इट सो? बेटा मेरा नहीं है? तुम्हीं तो सुबह कहते थे कि तुम्हारा है! और भीड़ तो कभी झूठ बोलती नहीं. अब तुम जब बोलते हो कि नहीं है मेरा, तो नहीं होगा.”

लेकिन लोग कहने ���गे कि, “तुम कैसे पागल हो! तुमने सुबह कहा क्यों नहीं कि बेटा तुम्हारा नहीं है? तुमने इतनी निन्दा और अपमान झेलने को राज़ी क्यों

हुए?”

वो फ़कीर कहने लगा, “मैंने तुम्हारी कभी चिन्ता नहीं की कि तुम क्या सोचते हो. तुम आदर देते हो कि अनादर. तुम श्रद्धा देते हो कि निन्दा. मैंने तुम्हारी आँखों की तरफ़ देखना बन्द कर दिया है. क्योंकि मैं अपनी तरफ़ देखूँ कि तुम्हारी आँखों की तरफ़ देखूँ! और जब तक मैंने तुम्हारी तरफ़ देखा, तब तक अपने को देखना मुश्किल था. क्योंकि तुम्हारी आँख तो प्रतिपल बदल रही है. और हर आदमी की आँख अलग है. ये हज़ार-हज़ार दर्पण हैं, मैं किस-किस में झाँकूँ? मैंने अपने में ही झाँकना शुरू कर दिया. अब मुझे फ़िकिर नहीं कि तुम क्या कहते हो? अगर तुम कहते हो बेटा मेरा, तो सही, मेरा ही होगा. किसी का तो होगा! मेरा ही सही. अब तुम कहते हो, नहीं. तुम्हारी मर्ज़ी, नहीं होगा मेरा. लेकिन मैंने तुम्हारी आँखों में देखना बन्द कर दिया है.”

और वो फ़कीर कहने लगा, “मैं तुमसे भी कहता हूँ कि कब वो दिन आएगा कि तुम दूसरों की आँखों में देखना बन्द करोगे और अपनी तरफ़ देखना शुरू करोगे?
