it seemed the older she got, the more of a flare for the dramatic. something about being a mikaelson made it almost commonplace, a requirement really. perhaps things aren't as terrible in this moment as they've been, could be? perhaps newly activated vampirism is making things much more intense? it very well could be, but what eighteen year old yielding her power wouldn't? such a heavy burden upon such small shoulders. with death and rebirth came responsibility she wasn't entirely ready for, but hope doesn't consider this when the lives of all new orleans are at stake.

this war has to end. and the tribrid saw the transition as a first step in the right direction. her whole life revolved around chaos, death, havoc. she's grown up long before her time. davina very well could relate to her plight. it was just easier to turn to her at times. scarlet painted lids close, deep breath through nostrils flared. the scent of roses nearby is akin to them being directly in front of her. as truly, terrifyingly intense it was, it provides a sense of calm. lashes fan, icy hues revealed and shining bright in the flicker of candlelight. she nods, breath of laughter. arms cross as the girl advances towards davina. " that's ... definitely a possibility. " lips purse, shrugging as sorrow creases brow. " i don't know, i just - i wonder if i bit off more than i can chew. " pun not intended.

❛ probably in the same circle of hell mine went. ❜ being a teenager is hard enough, being a witchy teenager is awful... davina can't wrap her mind around the idea of being in hope's shoes. the first (and only) of her kind, it must be so lonely. but, if the witch is honest, she's more than willing to be there for her. while the relationship she holds with the mikaelson family is complicated to say the least, davina doesn't hold hope responsible for any of the pain they inflicted. she's innocent, in that sense. ❛ want to talk about it? or just rant? rage room it? ❜

she had her father's wrath, and her mother's mercy. the tribrid had long since been prophesied to rule over the three factions, but no one could anticipate what was to come when she finally did. she stands before the pack, anger radiating through cerulean hues. betrayal had been among them, it gave the air a tenseness and stench hope couldn't stand. shift of gaze however brief to ansel, before looking to the sea of wolves in front of her. half of her mother's bloodline, half her father's. arms clad in leather cross, tongue pushes through lips, thinking. this is still so incredibly new, but as difficult as unifying the packs had seemed, at least she had her grandfather to confer with in trying times. how does a leader, an alpha, deal with a traitor? and how does hope find balance between klaus and hayley? " how should we handle this? " head cranes back to look up at her elder, seeking guidance.

moonlight fills a red sky. every fear of every prophecy, every terror-wrought admonishment, every last whispered curse towards the mikaelson family for creating such an abomination had led to this moment. she remembers dying by freya's words, incantation ceasing her heart. the nothingness in death, the awareness of it after, coming back with a hunger unlike anything else hope had ever experienced. body falls to the ground, drained of blood. lightning cracks across crimson dusk. eyes flash gold in the wake of a transformation complete. there was no going back now.

the tribrid is born. lashes fan, a few blinks and cerulean hues return. chest heaves with rapid breath she hadn't known she needed. fangs anew retract, focus shifting to the matriarch as smirk slithers onto her sanguine covered countenance. " hi mom, " she becomes a blur, suddenly in front of hayley. forever, this way, she'd remain.
