the amount of self-affirmation that has happened since i started reading Loveless is actually insane. I ADORE THIS BOOK.

i don’t identify as neither aro nor ace but being 18? not meeting the random age goals put on doing things? feeling behind sometimes? reading so much fanfiction you feel like an expert even though you’re just... not? oh this book is a dream

also pip is one of my new favourite characters ever. “Short Person Anger advantage”. yes. yes. AND ROONEY AS A SEXY EGG?? i could’ve CRIED i’ve laughed so many times at this book

the university aesthetic has literally made me so excited to move to uni in Sept even though i’m terrified but Georgia’s experience is sort of comforting???

To celebrate the release of Loveless, I’m doing a part two to my Alice Oseman appreciation post. Part one can be found here.

Alice Oseman is an author and illustrator based in England. So far, she’s written four novels: Solitaire, Radio Silence, I Was Born For This and Loveless. She is also the creator of the webcomic Heartstopper, which can also be found as a series of physical graphic novels. Her novels are contemporary YA, generally including LGBTQ+ characters. Her blogs on tumblr include @chronicintrovert (main), @spacezeros (art), @aliceoseman (books). They’re all brilliant and I highly recommend following them all.
