in the time that has followed since that incredible battle, the landscape of earth and further regions has changed-- even more so than it had in the five years prior. teams like THE AVENGERS are looked to as heroes, have been granted freedom across the planet-- old accords lie gathering dust and while the team is greatly expanded, many more have grown stronger too across the globe.
SHIELD, the justice league, the titans and so many more co-exist in somewhat harmony. sure, there may be tensions among some of the groups, but they all tend to agree with one key, base goal: the protection of earth. because for every hero that rises, there always seems to be a villain to meet them. peace has always seemed such a fragile thing, but our heroes are still determined to fight for it.
