the ppl saying amaterasu is majestic and graceful are wrong btw. sure yeah half of the time she is. i’ll give you that. regular wolves don’t control the elements by using their tails as paintbrushes and they don’t instantly grow flowers everywhere they step. but this is the same wolf who digs up people’s turnips and smashes their stuff and steals things and bites and grabs people when necessary. ammy smells bad and doesn’t like getting in the water. ammy stole a lady’s clothes while she was bathing. ammy blew up a whole gatepost settlement on the other side of a bridge. all the other animal gods in this game have humanoid intelligence and speak and act with grace but ammy in particular is mute and incredibly stupid and silly just like your average dog is. they drew a butthole on her character model for no necessary reason. do you remember golden fury and brown rage. c’mon guys be real

When you get to the final boss of Okami and you're all alone fighting an alien monster in the darkness and you've lost all your strength and all hope seems lost BUT THEN you hear the voices of all the characters you've helped in secret along they way as Issun steps into his role as your Celestial Envoy and everyone starts praying to you while Reset (Thank You) plays and their BELIEF in you unlocks Ammy's cool ass final form so you can GO KICK YAMI'S ASS and save the world. I cry 😭

Thinking about how when Sunrise was making Code Geass, they got CLAMP (who made Cardcaptor Sakura amongst other things) to do the character design

Except CLAMP was originally formed as a BL/yaoi doujin art group before they started making original work, so they also made some REALLY homoerotic official art of Lelouch and Suzaku. Like, you can find these in the artbooks or even on screen during episode credits

I just think it's hilarious how CLAMP had to witness whatever the hell was going on between these two, pick up on it enough to make official art of it, and then watch as the show included numerous women in love with Lelouch

Quantum Masking

One of the biggest mysteries in the Miraculous fandom is how on earth have Marinette and Adrien not figured out each other’s secret identities? I mean, sure, they have their super hero costumes, but…

Marinette is literally just wearing a mask around her eyes and her spotted suit. Her hair is the same, and so far, no one else in Paris has that hair style. 

Then there is Adrien, and this one is harder for sure. But even though his costume does make it harder to tell, you would think Marinette would have worked it out by now, or at least, thats what I thought, until I watched the New York special and found this

Here we have a slightly half-hearted explanation as to why no one has figured out their secret identities, besides Aeon, and it makes sense. The miraculous’s are ancient and magical, it makes sense that they would have special properties that hide the true identity of the bearer. So, in conclusion, Adrien and Marinette are not total idiots, they are just under the influence of quantum masking… whatever that is lol.

Something I love about confronting Cazador is how he obviously never processes that Astarion has friends until it's too late.

Petras and Dalyria must have mentioned that Astarion wasn't alone when they met him, but when you read Cazador's journal? He's 100% fixated on Astarion. How Astarion stood in the sun, how Astarion was willing and able to disobey him. And when Astarion shows up, Cazador barely acknowledges the party at all - and sure, that's partly because this is Astarion's moment in the narrative, but Cazador doesn't so much as ask why these random strangers are there! They're not part of his plans, so they don't exist.

And then they immediately save his errant spawn from the ritual and start beating his ass.

Just. What must have been going through Cazador's head when that fight starting turning against him? 'Is that... the Blade of Frontiers? Why is a monster hunter - and is that a cleric? - helping a vampire spawn? An undead? Ah, but they must be treating it as a necessary evil to have a chance to slay me, of course - hold on, why is the cleric healing Astarion? Why does that wizard keep Counterspelling everything I'm casting at Astarion, why waste the spells when I'm not even targeting him? Did... did that druid just cast Daylight on Astarion's weapons? And that brute of a tiefling - that's not just disgust in her eye when she looks at me, it's fury - and she keeps putting herself in front of Astarion, why in the hells would she - she's running right at me- '

I hope that one of the last things Cazador ever knew was the choking realisation that Astarion didn't just come back strong, or free. Astarion came back loved.

My favorite thing about the BG3 companions is that they all have opinions about what happens to the other party members and you don’t even have to prod. Just walk up to them and they’ll be like “can you believe that old wizard who told Gale he needed to blow himself up?” Or “damn Astarion’s a vampire that sucks” they all have opinions and think pieces about everyone and they’re more than willing to share with whoever will listen.

just like a real family, found or otherwise. We all have think pieces on our siblings and cousins 😂
