the way that like dolph lays on alex and how he curls up into him and how alex fucking doesnt even TRY to lean into dolph, holding up his arms to comfort himself regardless if dolph is there or not is so UGHHHHHHH. and the fact he fucking does this carefree pose so often AKHFJKSDHGJKSDGSKG. dolph has to get on alex for room because alex takes up so much more space and also how dolph is curled up in almost a fetal position and how he clings to alex im so sick im sick why are they like this oh my god dolph i wish you were held as often as you wanted to be

so bullfrogs theme is "deliverer of justice" AND HE SO DESERVES THIS TITLE because like?? throughout the show he gives advice to everyone, especially pey'j and dolph, he was trying to be the voice of reason, trying to make them see that vengeance is not always the right thing!

also, must be crazy to hear that from an assassin frog, which laserhawk even later jokes about 😭 but even though he calls him the 'most ridiculous assassin', he did recognize bullfrog was right and was trying to help him from making desicions in the name of vengeance

OH and also!!

not to mention my favorite example of him delivering justice; even though rayman was his 'enemy' as edens voice and posterboy as bullfrog calls him, he does help him to realize everything that happened, how eden manipulated and used him and that everything is gonna get worse if he continues the way he does now

he even calls him his friend at the end! which i just thought was super important in that scene, he even reassures him of his emotions :D

AND!! AND!!

not to mention he defends rayman from red after red had beaten him, literally calling that guy a coward because he fought unfair- god he does deliver justice 😭‼️

in conclusion: bullfrog is the best 😞

It's been three weeks since Ed—

Blackbeard, he reminds himself. Not Ed. Shit. Okay. From the start.

It's been three weeks since Blackbeard last  entered the secret room in the back of Stede's—

No. Again. They aren't Stede's quarters anymore. They're his. They're Ed's quarters.

In any fucking case. Its been a long fucking time since he last slipped into the back rooms, lost amongst the rails of silks and satins and cashmere. He doesn't need those fine things, he tells himself. He doesn't want them, either.

He spins around, his heart suddenly in his throat. A familiar figure darts behind a clothes rail.

Ed blinks. It's like seeing a ghost. "Lucius?"

Lucius sidles out from behind a particularly eye-catching jacket. He doesn't look overly scared.

"Are you hiding in the closet?"

Lucius purses his lips. His hand goes to his hip.

"Well," he says, raising his eyebrows with a smirk. "I can't say anyone's ever accused me of that before."

The crew of the revenge cares about each other so so much. Calico Jack kills Karl and everyone freezes in their tracks. Their faces all fall. They're devastated for Buttons. One of them presumably runs to get Stede, unless he noticed the cease in activity and ran out to see for himself what happened. Stede sees Buttons holding Karl and banishes Jack from his ship immediately, no hesitation. Stede can be as uncomfortable as Jack wants to make him. The man pissed on his shoes and he still thought that it was worth it to have him around if it made Ed happy! But as soon as he sees what Jack has done to his crew he's done. Get off my ship he says! Now!

My deepest wish for season 4 of Shadows is just to hear Laszlo Cravensworth say, "I actually had the pleasure of being raided by Blackbeard himself during my days as a seaman. He was just as fearsome as the shanties say, but what they DON'T tell you, is he could suck the barnacles from an anchor through a straw."

Both Stede and Ed have to face the shame they feel about their past before they can really be happy together.

Stede did that by going back home and realizing his family could be happy without him, that he didn't ruin their life. That they can forgive him. He understands now that he's not a monster to them.

Ed will have to do it by going back to who he was, and having Stede see him like that and love him and forgive him anyway. He will have to understand that even at his worst, he is still not a monster to Stede.
