Friendly reminder that I miss y’all.

December has been a crazy month for me. I’ve been so busy with working on personal projects that it consumed most of my free time. Life in general has been crazy, and limiting my time spent on here doing the stuff I enjoy.

That being said, I really miss those of you I used to talk to on here. Don’t take my absence as a sign of me not caring about you. I just don’t have the capacity to do indie stuff on the side because my brain just doesn’t mesh well with the limitless possibilities of indie rp. However, I mostly just miss the nice people I met on here, and enjoyed talking to and goofing around with. 

So I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again: if anyone wants to get a hold of me, see what I’m up to with this salty rat bastard of mine, or just chat in general, you can find me at @insidiousficnd  Heck, if you want to join the group I’m in, like 99% of characters are free and open to play so you’re more than welcome to do that too.

Either way, this blog has sort of become an archive at this point, but I will do better to pop in and to check my messages. I don’t want to make anyone feel like I just dropped them out of the blue. I’m just shitty at managing blogs lol

    Many a man would lose their sense of judgement for a pretty face and Kitty excelled on exploiting that staple of humanity. Especially if it continued to give her the results that made the Professor happy. A happy crime boss ensured a happy life of her own, after all. Not to mention that she practically basked in the praise he gave her for her efforts– but that was something she would never tell him. No, no, nooooo. His ego would never let her live that down.

     Those doe-like eyes of hers give a playful roll at his statement. Kitty adjusts herself so she can turn a bit farther to face him, nuzzling her nose into the crook of his neck as her hand shifts farther up from his jaw and around the back of his head to gently card through the Professor’s dulled hair. ❛  Don’t lie to me. You know it hardly works.  ❜  Her tone practically sings with affection, a tease in her voice at her statement’s close.   ❛  You know exactly what I like. Which makes you very good at picking things out for me. ❜   Her delicate fingers continue their ministrations through the Professor’s hair. Even a blind idiot could see her fondness for the criminal whose lap she currently occupied. The necklace around her throat was briefly given attention as Kitty lifted her head to show it off to Padraic, yet again. She even tilts her head around to give him optional angles.

      . She had to hand it to him, it did look rather fetching on her.

    ❛   Mon pauvre Professeur, ❜   she pouts out her lower lip teasingly, leaning back into his space as she spoke. The petite dancer practically purrs against the expanse of his throat as she nuzzles her face back into it’s previous position. Kitty feels so content in her current state, which is a great reprieve from every other scenario she has dealt with during her day. Though, her expression of affectionate loyalty shifts for the briefest of moments. Kitty’s eyes narrow slightly and she raises a well groomed eyebrow to the Professor, curiosity now her predominant emotion. ❛   …How long DID you wait, may I ask?  ❜  

There’s a certain intimacy in the way she tucked her nose against his neck and dragged her fingers through his hair. Padraic didn’t allow people to get close to him. Not his family, not his henchmen...but Kitty? Kitty was different. The man allowed his eyes to close for a moment when he knew she wasn’t looking at him, letting his tongue sweep across his lower lip as he shifted slightly beneath her. It was a tell of his, a brief flicker of discomfort from not knowing how to respond to such affection. He could bask in the praise and reverence of his underlings with ease. But such a simple touch from Kitty had a way of cracking his shell ever so slightly. ❝ 𝓗ardly, ❞ he echoed, his words lilting with amusement. He’d put up with it long enough to know when the young woman was teasing him. ❝ 𝓑ut in this case, I suppose you make a fair point. ❞ Opening his eyes, he took a moment to inhale before reaching up with delicate grace to take Kitty by the chin in one fluid motion. Even as she listed her head from side to side to show off the necklace, his hard hazel eyes seemed to lock onto hers rather than continue to admire the jewelry. ❝ 𝓦e both have a taste for the finer things in life, don’t we? As such, finding something you’d like to wear is easy. I just have to picture what I would like to see you wearing. ❞

His crooked lips pulled into an even more lopsided, toothy smile as the young woman slid her chin out of his grasp and once again buried her face against his throat. Warmth crept up his spine, threatening to sneak past the stiff collar of his crisp white undershirt. Padraic rested his hand across Kitty’s waist, allowing the woman her moment of contentedness as she curled up against him like her namesake. However, when he feels her lift her head once more and sees the arching, judgmental brow of her aimed at him, the smile he wore drooped slightly. Admittedly, Kitty wasn’t fond of his habit of breaking and entering into her home unannounced. Even if he came bearing gifts. Sitting up a bit in his seat, the man’s lips puckered thoughtfully and his own brows furrowed across his forehead. ❝ 𝓗ow long? Ah...well, ❞ he said as his fingers drummed across her waist and he pondered the question for a moment. ❝ 𝓛ong enough, my dear. I had other things to do this afternoon, but stopped by here afterwards to wait for you. ❞ He paused, then flashed another smile at her as though it would absolve him of any trouble. ❝ 𝓓id I mention how stunning you look in that necklace? ❞

Hey guys, 

I’ve been pretty quiet around here lately bc I’ve been working on a group with @fireballsandsmokechains and plan to spend most of my free time on there. I doubt I made much of an impression around the indie scene anyways, lol, but in case anyone was wondering where I’ve scurried off too, yeah, it’s group stuff.
