ICTs as an empowerment tool.

My journey in making use of ICTs as an empowerment tool. Information and communications technology (ICT) is a tool that can empower both teachers and students. It enhanced students' and teachers' learning outcomes by providing opportunities for students to develop their creativity, problem-solving abilities, analytical reasoning ability, as well as communication skills.  Information Communications Technology has been a big help to me as a Senior High School student when I’m doing research, with the use of ICT it makes my work easier and it allows me to find all the information that I need in a wide range of data in multiple formats. There are lots of opportunities important to us as students, such as enhancing our knowledge and capacity through learning how to use ICT, including the concept and ideas. Some subjects are hard and difficult for me because some lessons are often difficult to understand and others are not so easy to understand but because of the technology it gives me the opportunity to access some information with a better understanding. It improves my academic performance, makes my work easier and faster, and allows me to submit high quality work since I can access a lot of information from various websites that can be useful for the task given to us, as well as it will enhance my knowledge from the information from the websites. Through ICT use, both teachers and students contribute significantly to student motivation for the learning process. ICT enables the teacher to quickly and easily produce and modify resources. It allows students to access a wide range of data in multiple formats, and it's become an important tool for teaching. The use of ICT in education adds value in teaching and learning, by enhancing the effectiveness of the learning process. 💌Guide Questions

1. How did this subject change the way you view ICT? When I first heard ICT, I thought it would be both interesting and challenging. However, as time passes, my perspective on ICT has changed. I start to realise the significance of it, as well as the role itself. Information is shared on websites and social media to keep people updated and informed, which helps ICT save lives. ICT can be a tool for the community to unite for a good cause, to help each other in any terms.

2. After going through the lessons and visiting online sites, reflect on how they are currently being used. Do you agree or disagree with it? After going through the lessons and visiting the sites, I want to reflect about how they are currently being used. I agree because it is actually being used to communicate and disseminate information to all those in different locations. And I agree that, with it, we will communicate more easily unlike before.

3. Based on your reflection, do you have recommendations regarding ICT uses in the country? My recommendations for the country's use of ICT is that they use it appropriately. Will comply with the proper rules of any website and avoid using those platforms to judge or harass others. I’d hope that teenagers will be able to manage time spending using technology. To avoid doing things that are unnecessary while using ICT, you should use it in the right and proper way.
