OH YOU KNOW IT.     especially the more games she does,  at first it’d be so awkward and she’d stumble because of not having that confidence. but after that hurdle ? the set ups would probably take more effort than the actual story,  any excuse to bring her art like that. as well as lean into the acting headcanon that i’ve briefly spoken about, giving her a chance to explore that and the hidden skill. would be the type to drum roll, bang on the table, just gets sooo into it dude it’d be an absolute nightmare. she’d probably even do battle make up and just SODFHOSIFDSIHDF CORALINE IS A SECRET NERD BRO 😭

from what i know about D&D which is nothing,  i feel like coraline would be an insane dungeons master  -   she gets very involved in her own writing and super hyped, and putting work in an adventure and this sort of thing and getting the energy back would be a huge confidence boost and be a really good stepping stone for sharing her work, especially in such an interactive way that keeps her mind focused.  it’d go from “i have no idea whats going on” to “what do i have to do to sit there *points at head of the table* i want that job” SIDOFHSOHFSODF

i kinda... want a jason muse ...

i’m just thinking a lot about that scene with lucas and where he goes, “so what was he doing with chrissy?!” and “she was BUYING DRUGS” and im just thinking about how that flipped him out. i really do think he was brainwashed to have a picture perfect life style, a product of his environment and chrissy ... fit, that narrative for him, for his family. in that moment i just saw this guy who has this image of chrissy in his head and in that moment it was shattered into pieces, it does very much seem like a day dream, and anyone who dares destroy this perception does send him into a spiral. which i think that would be an interesting concept of why chrissy never went to jason in the first place, maybe due to not feeling completely seen by him. i think he is very much a Product Of The 80s and illusion of this lifestyle does get beaten out of him, or at least watered down by the late 90s. like, he would rather believe his class mates are murderers and devil worshippers than admit maybe his girlfriend didn’t tell him something... bro that ain’t healthy and i would love to explore that

⠀⠀⠀   *       𝐒𝐇𝐄'𝐒 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒  —   there were many emotions swimming inside her at the moment,   coraline never felt like emotions were exactly her thing  .  ironic,  that now she were to experience a tightness in chest,  waves of anger and helplessness swimming around ready to burst any second .   hell,  maybe it was just the first time she finally acknowledged that she was still human,  that deep inside she was just like the rest of them,  the same as the people she felt so separated from .  lips press together as the black and white pictures stare back at her,  bright smiles and shining eyes,  a memory trapped forever in time,   they had no idea what life would bring them .    lost to a being drunk on power and domination,   forgotten by a being that simply loved to watch the world burn  .    the gods don’t care,    they’ve made it abundantly clear ... so why does coraline  ?   wasn’t she one of them ,  and yet she stands,  yearning for an end of the torment for everyone to be free of the upside down and the horrors it holds  .    the natural order isn’t what was occurring,  this was a killer with too much power  . 

⠀⠀⠀   *       she doesn’t come out of the trance right away,  unblinking,  lost to thoughts .  only as steve knocks her out of it a little firmer does she snap her head towards him,  eyes blinking rapidly as the faded world comes into view .  the distant buzz of life inside the school now having a tone to it rather than a low hum .  she says nothing at first,  staring at the other with creased eyebrows,  troubled -  she’s always been able to hold it well,   but this time it was hard  -  after everything she’s been through,   what they’ve been through,  she didn’t have the energy to pretend   ❛   you wanna know something  ?    ❜      blue hues glow slightly with the confusion buzzing beneath skin,  magic stirring within veins,  as if it were trying to make her feel better .  though she doesn’t realize that,  staring at the papers once again,  like if she focused hard enough the missing people would crawl out and at least part of the problem would be solved ...  nothing was ever that easy though,  not for them    ❛   after everything that’s happened,  from the start to right now .  i think ... i think i finally get it    ❜   eyes squeeze shut, nails digging deep into forearms from where they were folded across chest     ❛    i think i finally understand what people mean to each other . ❜
