Had a revelation recently and thought it might help other people too.

There is absolutely NO shame in having a ton of projects on the go and switching between or even dropping them on a whim.

Hobbies are meant to be FUN.

You can have 20 writing projects, or knitting, or whatever your thing is, and putting them down for a bit or abandoning them is a-okay.

I personally would never think that someone who started playing a video game and then decided to play another before it was finished was a quitter, so why am I so judgemental towards myself?

Doing your hobbies in a way that brings you joy isn't selfish or weak, it's...literally the whole point of them. Go nuts!

Hello, I'm here to talk about HB3. You're probably wondering what HB3 is (since barely anyone's talking about it), to give a basic rundown on what this thing is, HB3 is a law that's similar to KOSA. Except it's for Florida exclusively. It aims to “protect” minors online by making them more unsafe. Like taking away safe spaces and crucial information.

If you live in Florida, don't give up or panic! iirc, it's having legal trouble due to it being unconstitutional. But Don't feel relieved yet, Kansas has done something similar (I'll probably talk about that later)

Now is there anything that we can do? Of course! But we can't call them since it already passed as a law (I think) the most we can do is protest and spread awareness. If you have friends or mutuals in Florida let them know!!

The main thing about KOSA that has me pretty convinced that it won’t pass is how blatantly unconstitutional it is.

It violates

A) Freedom of speech/expression

and

b) Freedom of the press (which encompasses anything published ANYWHERE including online)

ALSO judicial review plays a HUGE part in it seeing as if a law is proven to oppose the constitution, legally the constitution RULES OVER SAID LAW.

So yeah, KOSA is unconstitutional bullshit, and probably won’t pass

The US lawmakers are starting to try and crack down on the internet in general, I think it’s because their afraid, afraid of the power we hold, and thus act to try and silence us, to my knowledge, Article 13 was the first of these kind of bills to try and limit the internet, the KOSA bill is almost the same thing simplified and stretched to an extrene

I know, I don't this stuff, but I keep on seeing this everywhere and not gonna lie, it's f r e a k i n g me out. I think we all know what KOSA is at this point, it's a bill that will restrict almost everything that we know in this time.(if passed, of course.) Information that will help our queer friends, help us express ourselves, and just genuinely know more about the world, gone. I just don't get it. It's the twentieth century, people can date the same gender or not have to choose at all. Everything can and will happen. So why hold on to the past, where everything has to be black and white? Why keep holding this gate closed? Free will, free speech- It exists. Hell, America's literally called 'The Land of the Free.' Act on it. Passing KOSA won't keep us safe. If a five-year-old can cuss, that's on the parent for not monitoring them. The internet is a vast place with it's ups and downs, and just because some little down might affect you does not mean you have to stomp all pissy on our lawns and subsequently ruin what we take joy in. The U.S. does not own the whole internet, it's all over the world. We've got one more day. So spread the word. Get this trending. Reblog it. Just- Do whatever you can. I don't want this bill passed just as much as the others who've reacted to other posts.
