It’s simply going to make me work more…” He sighed to himself, wishing desperately to just lie down.​

"Oh, no it's not to help the resistance or nothin'!" The construct quickly waved her hands in dismissal at the suggestion before looking around as if she was suspicious of someone listening in. "Well... The reason I wanted to talk to ya is... Kinda weird. It's just, we're both, y'know..."

She hesitated for a few moments. "Created by Eggman and all. And I wanted to... Ask a few questions about him. Not for the purpose of getting a leg up on him, it's... More... Along the lines to cope with losing mah father." That was hard to admit. But if anyone could answer her questions, it was definitely Orbot. Cubot seemed nice, but sort of clueless when it came to important stuff.

"... I know ya aren't the most fond of him... But has he ever been... Nice to you? When he wasn’t Mister Tinker, that is. Like, at all? Any kind words or praise? I... I need to let go of this feeling of hope that he's still... Good in there somewhere. And I figured yer the person to go to..."

It’s ear piercing winds indicate high speeds. He’s gaining on you. As you finally work up the courage to look beside you, you see just a flash of him as he passes. He whispers one word to you before leaving you in his dust.
