As a native Italian speaker I feel a weird mix of pride and genuine perplexity when someone in the PreCure fandom tells me about the Italian PreCure dubs

6) Fresh

Fresh was...fine? I really liked Setsuna's character arc (best girl I am gonna draw so many fanart of her) and it was a fun season with some good direction moments (the fight scenes OOOOH GOD) but I didn't really get attached to the main cast??? Love, Miki and Inori didn't stick with me like Nagisa and Honoka or the Yes!5 girls and I think that's a shame because this season had potential! Overall it was a fun ride but it's definitely not one of my favourites

Next is Heartcatch and I can't wait!!!

Little update for those who were wondering what I’ve been up to:

I moved to Japan at the beginning of April! I had so many stuff to do this month but it seems like all the paperwork is done for now. I’ll be on holiday starting today and I can’t wait to spend my free time drawing and walking around Tokyo - I can think about finding a part time job AFTER the holidays lol

Tokyo Mew Mew played a huge part in my childhood, it was one of my first manga/anime and one of those that inspired my to draw and introduced me to the magical girl genre. Hearing about Mia Ikumi’s passing fills my heart with sadness.

Thank you for eveything Ikumi-sensei, you can rest in peace now ❤
