I wanted to test out a couple of new metallic brush pens, as well as use more of the acrylic and regular brush pens alongside colored pencils and a regular ink sketch. This was mostly vent art but I thought it looked nice.
A few years ago I made a short animated GIF on Photoshop. I first sketched the design (making sure it's a simpler style), made a storyboard, then made the GIF on Photoshop.
Since backgrounds are an area that I want to improve on, I decided to try drawing a screenshot that I took of the Chinju Forest from the game Genshin Impact. Hopefully as time goes on I'll improve.
A few sketches that I colored using colored pencils, copic brush markers, and acrylic pens. I sketched them out using a pen at a cafe, then colored them in at home afterwards.
Made with a watercolor background and acrylic pens. Used a bit of a black copic brush marker as well.
These are two of my OCs, basically twin teenagers who investigate instances of the "paranormal" in their town. I was listening to this on loop while painting/drawing to get in the zone.
I made a sketch and colored it on Clip Studio Paint. This is Princess Vivienne Rey (or "Vivi") of the kingdom Azure, a character I came up with from a "Pixel Character" assignment in college.
My first try at using the iPad's Photoshop app alongside my Apple pencil. Since I'm used to drawing with Clip Studio Paint, the brushes needed some testing out but at least I'm working my way through the background.
